I can not say enough wonderful things about this family owned business! We purchased our pool and hot tub from them and continue to go in on a regular basis to have chemical levels checked. We paid a very fair price and were provided with top of the line products and professional instillation. They know who we are and we we know who they are. In a world in which everything is increasingly impersonal, North Country Hearth and Home stands out as one of the few remaining companies that act with integrity and care about the customer.

A man with a plan for sure. Ready to destroy his own business. "I'm not a bank. If you had paid like you said you would, it would have been taken care of by now." He says to a mom of 2 who has had Covid and been unable to work for a month +. Demanding a credit card before the end of the year for the remainder of the balance as she cries on the phone that she can't even give her children Christmas. Job well done pool boy!

Nice people and work was done properly and clean. But $355 to clean and inspect the chimney (brush and shop vac and flashlight for inspection)and taking just 1 hr and 10 minutes from arriving to leaving is too much to pay. Shop around.

Had a woodstove installed and an older much larger one removed. Very friendly, professional, and helpful staff. They cleaned up after themselves and worked quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend in the future!

NCHH installed a woodstove for us today on a snowy, windy day with snow squalls on the shore of Lake Ontario. I felt bad as the technician climbed up on the ladder in the horrible weather but they maintained their professionalism and sense of humor throughout the day. They did an exceptional job and didn't hesitate even when we gave them a 24 hour notice design change. I would highly recommend this company; service like this is rare.

This company did an amazing job servicing my chimney. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and explained everything throughout the process. I highly recommend using them they caught a few things wrong that another company failed to notice. We will definitely be using them in the future!

Bought a top of the line hot tub 4 years ago and needed a part. My wife stopped and the part was not in stock and needed to be ordered.ok understandable.so after a week.in November weather and the hot tubs heating unit will not function with the part out because it was spraying water everywhere anyway. I stop and the part isn't in yet.another week goes by and I get a call with no voicemail left, I return the call expecting that the part was in, and I get told by the owners son that he has ordered the part twice and he has been sent the wrong part both times and I'm welcome to come to get one of those parts to "see if it works".rude as hell when questioned that he can't get the part after only four years after purchase.went picked up he old part and he was just as arrogant in person.very customer unfriendly, like it was my fault he couldn't get the part.

I called Strong Spa myself directly at 1800-strong9 and had the correct part, hoses and couplings sent to me in 2 days.best yet.free of charge. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM NORTH COUNTRY HEARTH AND HOME EVER AGAIN.They want to sell you the product but don't want to help when something breaks. You only have 2 choices here in the North Country. As far as I am concerned you only have one choice. North Country Hearth and Home is a very professional company to do business with. George was a great help on the front end in sales. I just had my fireplace insert installed and I am extremely pleased. Chance and Jesse showed up on time, to the minute.

The installation had some challenges that they had to overcome, which they did. The installation is tight and neat and installed as discussed in the planning phase. I am very pleased. They cleaned up and left the job site as they found it. They did what they said they would do in the time frame they agreed to at the price that was stated. Well done folks.

Their service folks at the main office are amazing. George is a good guy and very knowledgable. Highly recommend getting chemicals and advice for your own pool maintenance. DO NOT and I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT have them provide weekly cleanings. You'll end up with a pool like mine (see photo). And this isn't the first time this year, or last year.

Their cleaning crew, or lack there of, is terrible. They don't show up on time, and do not take all proper steps to ensure your pool is clean and ready. Ours has been open for over a month, swam in twice, and has NEVER looked good. Last year, they had an employee that said they were going around cleaning, but they weren't. I don't think I can stress enough how abysmal their cleaning service is. For that reason, I am giving them 1 star.

Shane and his staff did a great job helping us find the perfect gas stove for our home. His staff was courteous and very knowledgeable of all the products that are sold in their store. The install team was professional and expedient. When there was an issue with the stove, Shane and his staff worked diligently to diagnose the issue and correct it. This was an A+ installation and product from an A+ organization. Will definitely return to This company for any other heating need my family has in the future.
