Services
The origins of Mosser Glass go back more than half a century to the time when Orie Mosser was the plant manager of the Cambridge Glass Company. His son, Thomas, began working there as a teenager, learning the trade from bottom to top. When Cambridge Glass closed in 1954, Tom decided to continue in the glass business building a company of his own.
Mosser's cake stands have elegant designs for displaying wonderful creations. Styles include the classic Plain, Elizabeth and cake plates within Mosser glass pattern designs like Inverted Thistle. Enhance any kitchen with these high-quality mixing bowls. Go from batter to sauces to serving with different sizes of bowls.
We currently have 2 day tanks and 3 pot furnaces. They are fired by natural gas. The raw materials such as Soda Ash and Silica Sand are raised to a melting point of 2500 F. Working temperature varies from 1800 - 2000 fahrenheit. The cast iron moulds are warmed at a temperature of up to 1000 F starting 1-3 hours before production begins.
Visit our beautiful retail store onsite. You will find all of our gorgeous creations plus more. Pick up a treasured souvenir, find that perfect gift for someone special or add to your own glass collection. Mosser Glass offers area tourists an interesting learning experience. You will be given a guided tour through our facility, where you will see our talented craftsman at work and learn about the process of glass making. Please Note: Tours will not be available during the first two full weeks of July, or the last two weeks of December.

Oh lord have mercy! Have I died and gone to glass heaven? This shop is fantastic to just drool, eh hem, I mean, browse in. And you are sure to find something that you will HAVE to have. So happy we finally made it here. My son is thrilled with his unicorn (brand new, talk about good timing) and I am looking forward to finding spots for all my new goodies

This is a MUST SEE if you at all interested in glassware! They offer tours of the factory (I received a personal, one-on-one tour). Browsing through the gift show, I was like a kid in a candy shop.it is fabulous. So many beautiful things to take home and after knowing how these pieces are made, makes the decision even more difficult.

Excellent customer service and beautiful pieces of glass. My husband bought me a Santa as a gift and he arrived with a bit of a chipped nose. I reached out to the company, quickly received a response, and was able to receive a new Santa. The new piece is flawless. I love the jadeite color. Will be ordering more items!

We saw this store on an episode of "How It's Made." It is directly off the expressway of I-77 and the glass factory tour is 100% worth it! Their pressed glass is dishwasher safe, thick, high quality, and so unique! Our second stop in two years. Definitely worth your 30 minute stop on your next road trip. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! Just make sure to contact the store to see if their glass tours are happening and for times/availability. Well worth it!
