I asked the lady that answered the phone if they sold bundles of wood and lath. She might've been having on very bad day but she told me that they only sell wood. I tried to explain to her that last wood&lath is wood.just older. I try to ask if there is anyone else I can speak with but she hung up before I could even get any words out of my mouth. Needless to say it left a bad taste in my mouth no pun intended

My flooring installer purchased a bit of select grade heart pine (advertised as 95% heart, 0.5% knots on total surface area that are less than a dime in diameter) for a premium price. I paid over $20/lineal foot. I was desperate to keep the original floors in my 150 year old home and repair broken boards, so I paid a premium. I am very disappointed in about 25% of what as sent.
Some boards are lovely, pumpkin colored heart pine. Some are bright yellow, knotty, and look like they came off the Home Depot shelf. Some are slightly heart and mostly not. I waited until they were finished and they look so off it's defeating. I spent so much money to retain the floor character and it was a waste. See photos.

ET Moore is one of the truly great resources in the USA for reclaimed heart pine. We had the best assistance and service I have received in this business in 35 years. Their products are sufficiently varied that they generally have what I want, they are very competitive on price, and of all the showrooms I have been in, theirs is far and away the most interesting.
Its worth the trip just to see the collection. The inventory of antique beams and lumber is very impressive, the staff all seem to enjoy where they work, and have bent over backwards to meet our customers' demands for every project we have taken to them. Having worked with numerous companies involved in remanufacturing old beams for decades, my rating of ET Moore is the top of my list.

I met with the owner for over an hour and learned more about heart pine then I could have every imagined. I came up for a few pieces to help with our remodel and was blown away from the customer service I received. I was also given a referral for a Hampton flooring company to sand and stain our floors. Our floors look amazing!
