I'm in Canada and bought the Boerbel GuardDog gate latch from Home Hardware. The install was very easy to complete because of quality engineering. You will have difficulty with any product if not designed properly. It comes with two keys, and we needed extra copies. However, after visiting many key cutting places, no one was able to produce a duplicate that worked.

I called customer service which is in Quebec, told them my situation, and they were able to send me two additional keys at no charge. No issues, no problem. Thank you Gina for your prompt and courteous service!

Just dropped all their smaller customers with 2 day notice to take care of their big customers. Don't do business with them.

If I could do a minus rating, I would. Never use Freedom/Barrett Polyethylene Vinyl plastic fence from Lowe's or Home Depot! It is terrible for expansion-contraction! Broken and warped everywhere! Literally ripped the screws right out even though it was allowed to float! I went back to plain old cedar lattice.

I would give no stars if I could. This company does not Stand behind their products. They sell cheap plastic that breaks easily in cold temperatures, and they refuse to honor their warranty and the product is less than five months old.

If you need your fence delivered for installation, find another company to order it from, unless you don't mind waiting about a year to get it. Ordered my fence from Lowes many weeks ago, when it finally arrived Barrette had done such a terrible job of packaging that three sections of the fence were damaged. Now I'm having to wait weeks more due to the incompetency of this company. Wish Lowe's would find another dealer.

I had my fence installed through the home depot 10 months ago. One of the panels blew down in 40 mph wind. it was suppose to covered under warranty for a year. They dint honor that. I had to pay the instal guy to replace the panel. The girl from customer service was rude and a nightmare to deal with. We do love our fence, but I wouldn't have used this company had I known they aren't honest. $13,000 you guys couldn't fix one panel?

A part of a aluminum railing broke when I was intalling it. An email to Barrette was answered within a hour or 2 and a replacement part sent the same day. Top notch product, top notch client service. I really wasn't expecting this kind of response - sorta blown away.
