Wood floors invoke a good feeling in people. It is a natural product that is beautiful, ecological and easy to maintain. There is no other flooring that offers the beauty, history, warmth and value of wood. In fact, when it comes to your home, wood is always a good investment because it is a sign of quality and timelessness that people understand.
It will typically take 4 1/2 days for us to complete a 1200 square foot project. During that time we will tent off our work area to minimize the spread of dust in your home. Prior to applying the sealers we will fully vacuum out the work site to insure that the finish coat is dust free. Truthfully, there is no such thing as a "dustless" wood floor refinishing process, but we make every effort to keep the dust to a minimum.
We have depth of experience when it comes to helping you decide which wood will work best for your home. Over the years we have worked with a variety of materials from the more common oak, and maple to the rare and exotic woods. We will work with you to make sure that every job is completed to your satisfaction, whether you are choosing pre-milled wood, having custom planks milled for you out of wood that you select or simply choosing a new finish for your existing floor.You may want to consider adding a customized element to your wood floor by inlaying a unique design or pattern.

Ted and his crew have done a WONDERFUL job on each of our houses. Ted is a great guy to work with, and always has a joke ready for any situation. Material costs are done as honestly as possible, making you feel like you got a great deal on great product. The craftsmanship is phenomenal (and highly affordable), with Ted constantly striving to meet even the most detailed expectation.
Once a timeline is set, the work is done in a timely and tidy fashion. I initially heard about Ted and Meeks Hardware Floors from several friends' recommendations. Ted completed a sanding and finishing on an old white pine floor we discovered under our carpeting. He was timely in responding to communications on the scheduling of the work, and accommodating to any changes as they arose. He perfectly mended areas that were damaged and the job was completed as scheduled. Ted was easy to work with, and I appreciated and enjoyed his sense of humor as he completed his work. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs their floors professionally refinished. Thanks Ted!

This was my first experience purchasing hardwood floors. Ted did a great job of explaining the process to me. Ted and his crew showed up on time, finished the job on time and on budget. They were professional, courteous and did a great job of cleanup at the completion of the job. The floors are beautiful!

Ted and his crew did a phenomenal job refinishing our floors in Walla Walla. We had a nasty segment where water leaking from the tub had ruined part of the floors in an adjoining bedroom (discovered after we removed old carpet). Ted did a masterful job matching the old wood with the new, and and you can't even tell where he did the repair. Pricing was great, as was the timeline from bid to finished project. Highly recommend!

Our floors are beautiful! After living with laminate floors for 16 years, we are extremely happy about now having hardwood floors. So pleased with the end product.
