Lyons Lumber was opened in 1909 by Greene Lyons and his mother America Lyons. Mr. Lyons was a fifth generation Kentuckian and completed a business course in 1906 at Indiana's Valparaiso University. He was employed by Capital Lumber and Manufacturing Company in Frankfort. Greene Lyons took the experience he gained there, along with the capital investment of his mother, and began Lyons Lumber Company.

Gregg Stevenson is a 4th generation owner of Lyons Lumber with specialties in millwork, windows and doors but also has a vast knowledge in lumber and engineered products. Gregg has been a student at "Lyons University" all of his life and has worked every position in the company, learning the value of hard work.

As one of the area's building material suppliers, we provide quality lumber and materials at competitive prices. We are a full service supplier of framing lumber, sheathing, roof and floor trusses, siding, engineered wood products, drywall, insulation, roofing, doors, windows, molding and builders hardware.
