John LaRocco Sr. was the youngest of 6 children and was born and raised in Michigan City, Indiana. After he returned home from World War II in 1946, John settled down with his wife Marion and together, they started LaRocco Rainbow cleaners. Two of his brothers and one of his sisters worked for him at the cleaning plant for many years.
We call it LaRocco's Flooring Outlet or "LFO". We would like to earn your flooring business and we understand that the big box stores can be tough to compete with. But there are many areas where the big boxes can't compete with us! Like product selection, professional product knowledge and customer service.

Great experience. John listened to exactly what we wanted, then offered a suggestion that was even higher quality and less expensive than the one we had chosen. We were notified promptly when the install had to be moved back a day. Rusty did an awesome job with the installation. It looks beautiful and we couldn't be more pleased. My aunt wants to see what they can do for her kitchen!

Layed 1200 sf of flooring in my new house. After the install I noticed a really soft spot, amd asked them if they had noticed. "Ya the installer saw that", no call to ask if i wanted to fix the subfloor. Nope just went right over it. Definitely would not recomend, really sad as I love to recommend the local businesses.

The best flooring company we've ever dealt with. We had them install carpet, hardwood, and tile in our home. We are completely satisfied with the products and the professional installation. LaRocco's attention to detail is second to none! We live in Valparaiso and drove past many other flooring companies to get to LaRocco's and are glad we did! What a great business to work with! Mr and Mrs LaRocco are honest and customer oriented. They strive for customer satisfaction. Their staff was hard-working and friendly. When installing new flooring, they found several pieces of costume jewelry that had fallen in the corner of a closet that I believed to be lost. They could have kept the jewelry and instead gave it to me. LaRocco's have done work in two homes for us and the quality of the work and ethic is top notch.
