Don't ever go here if you want anything done custom. Melissa will just change all your designs without telling anyone and screw up your entire project just because she thinks she knows what looks better in your house than you do. Just built a brand new home and now I have to stare at her destruction of my master shower every day because it will cost thousands to rip it out and make it right.

She is a nuisance. Don't trust her. If you think it was a mistake, it was intentional. She did it the first time and I called her out on it - that "error" was fixable (by putting grout stain over both bathrooms). A month later she asked about a possible change and I explicitly told her NOT (in caps) to change my grout choices again. She did it anyway. Her second change is not fixable without ripping out the entire shower and re-waterproofing it.

I was referred to Matt at Johnston from a mutual contact in the finishing world for some Centurion Wood Coatings. Matt was extremely helpful in walking me through the technical aspects of this material as it's the first time I have ever used it. I placed my order Friday around noon ad when I walked outside today (Sunday) at 11 am it was on my porch. In my work a 48 hour lead tome.for materials is fantastic. I'll be using Johnston as my gomto for CIC Coatings from here on out.

Their friendly courteous staff is very knowledgeable. I recommend the Bath and Spa paint the next time you are painting a high humidity room. Excellent product. Also using them for flooring; wood floors and tile floors, carpet as well as the backsplash in the kitchen. Fantastic selection of interesting products. You won't be disappointed when choosing Johnston Paint and Decorating.

So I went to buy 20 gallons of paint and the guy at the paint counter I asked if they had eggshell exterior i am painting an outside of a house, in a certain color he corrected me of the correct terms. Then right after he corrected me he asked if I was spraying a room inside. He then asked if I was painting outside in this snowy sleety weather. It's currently sleeting now.

His name is Tom at the paint desk and because of his talking down to comments and illogical jabs I will not be shopping here or spending my money here. why would a company allow someone to do that!

They were closed for inventory a day I ordered two cans of paint online, not knowing they were closed. When we got there they let us in and mixed our paint for us. Everyone here is super friendly.

Exceptional service! I am really impressed. They helped me pick out the backsplash and grout for my kitchen and made sure I had everything I needed for installation. I didn't get the adhesive when I picked up the order, but when I called back in, they had it delivered to me within 20 minutes!

I went to match one piece of tile and Lisa bit it in half and threw it at me. Ha no Lisa worked with me a long time trying to pick wood flooring that goes with my cabinets. Thanks Lisa and Murph

My first visit to their store and I left in tears. I was treated like my business wasn't wanted, I was talked down to and made to feel stupid because I was unaware that an interior door was considered "trim", and the salesman even went as far as calling my landlord to inform him that I was trying to make changes to his property without permission.

All I was trying to do was buy some touch up paint for a few patched nail holes (for which I had permission) and some touch up paint for the interior doors for very minor paint blemishes. While the salesman was on the phone with my landlord, I asked him if he could tell my landlord what my intentions were but he ignored me. When he hung up the phone with my landlord, he told me he wasn't going to tell my landlord anything because he wasn't going to be in the middle of it.after voluntarily putting himself in the middle of it.

I left the store an absolute emotional wreck. I had to call and apologize to my landlord and explain that I was only trying to make improvements to his property and by no means was I trying to make any color changes without his permission. All I was trying to do was help maintain the property and somehow left the store feeling like a terrible person. I'm hoping that the salesman was simply having a rough day but it devastated me and I will never go back.
