Hy-Lite, a U.S. Block Windows Company, is the only manufacturer of Acrylic Block Windows in the world. Established in 1988, Hy-Lite Products revolutionized the Privacy Window market by introducing pre-framed acrylic block windows as an alternative to old-fashioned glass block and other plain textured windows.
All Hy-Lite acrylic blocks are injection-molded from American-made resin in our Pensacola, Florida manufacturing facility. Our acrylic block window products are proudly made in the U.S.A. by American workers from start to finish. Each Hy-Lite product is custom made to the specifications of the customer.
Depending on series, each block interlocks with the next using polymer clips or integral, overlapping flanges and then bonded inside and out with proprietary sealants. Panels are then glazed into thermally broken aluminum or vinyl frames. Hy-Lite windows offer structural and thermal benefits similar to traditional, dual-glazed window units, including upgraded thermally efficient options.

*BEWARE* that the Hy-Lite fixed acrylic block windows now have a light blue tint to them! This was acknowledged by a customer service representative that said they were using a new vendor for the blocks. SO disappointed in the window that we just installed in our new home construction. We were expecting clear blocks as we had in the past from Hy-Lite.
Even from the outside you can see the tint and how it differs from our other exterior windows. The lighting in the whole room is affected as that is our only window. *Go back to clear acrylic blocks*!
