Jonathan was a very helpful young man. He didnt come out to just sell me something to take my money. He advises what was best for me and not try to get over and make a sale.

These guys replaced our old OLD (broken) framed shower door with a modern one and the result is just amazing. I wish I had some horrid "before" pictures to show, but after 25 years, the hinge had broken and the door was completely inoperable. We wanted bright brass hardware, which turns out to be a little uncommon. We got quotes from another vendor who, it seemed, really didn't want the job and complained about how hard it would be, how difficult it was to get bright brass and offered a number of very unattractive alternatives. Jonathan from Hurst Glass, on the other hand, just said "no problem, I'll need to use some heavy duty hinges." The price was great, the installation made exactly when promised and it looks even better than I'd dreamed.

In fact, the result is just so beautiful and Jonathan was so professional that we decided to immediately replace the other shower door in the house and did so. The doors are beautiful, work perfectly and SO update the look of the bathroom. I cannot recommend these guys too highly!

These guys can do a good job, but there's a big BUT. I've talked to them on the phone multiple times, and every time the guy on the phone sounds anesthetized. So chill as to give the sense he doesn't care. I've honestly never dealt with a service company whose phone manners and mannerisms seem so uninterested in the customer and their needs.

Not good at returning emails or phone calls, even just to say they received your call or e-mail it don't have a quote yet. The owner should do some serious retraining with his guys on politeness, responsiveness, and other basic good customer service behaviors. When a customer is laying money out for an expensive product, they deserve better treatment.

My experience with Hurst Glass and Screen was great. Jerry was knowledgeable, patient and courteous during my visit. I had measured incorrectly and they fixed the problem easily. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs services within their area of expertise.

Horrible company to do business with. Called and scheduled first available time for a tech to come take a look at our glass door. Husband explained in detail what was wrong and what we needed fixed. We had to wait two weeks. Okay, not a problem. Some guy from this business comes and takes a look at our issue and says "I don't have time for this. Can't do this. I'll call you later if I have time to stop by again." And leaves. Um, what?

I waited two weeks for you to come to my house and tell me you are too busy? We explained exactly what we needed done when we scheduled the appointment. So, I call them asking to speak to a manager, left voicemails, etc. and I never received a call back. Now, here I am having wasted three weeks and my shower door is still not working properly. Waste of time.

Hurst Glass and Screen was a pleasure to work with when we needed new window screens. They communicated very well about each step in the process and delivered exactly what was promised. We are very pleased with our new window screens and highly recommend them!

Professional, considerate, high quality product. I had all my windows replaced in a 1963 home. The price was mind boggling affordable and the windows were superior quality. Very disappointed in this place. I called for 30 minutes yesterday morning and got only a busy signal. So I decided to just go in. Although the open sign was lit there was a sign on the door that said "be back at 12:30." No big deal, I have no issue with that. I returned at 12:45 only to find the door locked. I saw a man on crutches walking around inside, so I figured he'd see me and open the door. Well, he never acknowledged me so I knocked on the door.

He looked at me and waved and proceeded to walk the other direction. I waited for about 15 minutes, watching the man continue about his business but never looking at me again. I even called and could hear the phone ringing, but he didn't answer. The answering machine did fine on, but I couldn't understand the message. I finally gave up, loaded my stuff up in my car and drove the 2 blocks to Binswanger Glass where I was promptly greeted by a very friendly man. Hurst Glass and Screen will not receive my business and I'll spread the word to all my friends. Very rude!

Previous owners installed Non-tempered glass in shower stall. New owners refused to address and claimed out of warranty. TEMPERED GLASS IN SHOWER STALLS IS THE LAW. Injury involved could warrant a serious law suit. Careful!

We had to have a glass shower door removed and then reinstalled after tile work was done in our shower. They were fast very friendly and did an amazing job. I even called last minute and they were able to work me in. Would recommend them to anyone.

Bronze shower door installed for $1000. Noticed that the rubber/plastic piece that is between the glass and frame was cut too short so it didn't go from end to end of the glass. I called for them to return to fix. Very unprofessional gentleman answering the phone was almost no help. I had to insist that they come back and see my complaint. A long haired tatted up guy comes to look at it and was obviously not happy to be there.

Now about 3 weeks later the lower metal piece on the door falls off. It had been attached with double sided foam tape! Seriously. this can't be the way this is supposed to be attached to an area that gets wet. Once again called for them to come back out. Supposed to come same day.of course.no show. Finally came 2 days later. Supposedly did it right this time. Overall not a professional company. Terrible customer service.

Mario and team are the tops! We hired them to install a custom, frameless master shower door. Our bathroom is tricky (old house) and the measurements required extreme precision. As luck would have it, there was a mix up in the measurement and it appeared that we would be w/o a shower for over a week after our move into the renovated home because of the error.

I phoned Mario and firmly insisted that he adhere to the original schedule (we are shower, not bath people). He and his team made it happen, pressuring the manufacturer to finish the fabrication stat and staying late the night before a holiday to install the glass. I would recommend Hurst Glass without hesitation and will use again!

I had a piece of glass cut for a dining room table and they really went above and beyond! It was one of the lowest quotes I received and it was ready the next morning! Fast and affordable service.

A few weeks ago when we had the first bout of really nice weather this fall, I decided it was time to turn off the air, open the windows and air the place out. That's when I remembered I had 5 windows with no screens/no frames and 2 windows with holes in the screens so big no telling what kind of Texas varmint might poke its head through. So I perused online and in the good ol' yellow pages and called Hurst Screen and Glass to help me.

To make a long story short, we made an appointment for them to come out and measure. On the appointed day/time the guy called to say he was on his way and showed up on time. That was a Thursday. The following Monday morning he called to say that the screens were ready. I was at home anyway and he was in his truck making some other deliveries and said he could be there in 1/2 an hour.

Half and hour later, there he was. The new frames/screens fit the windows and the old frames now have hole-less screens. And the cost was, in my opinion, very reasonable. I'll definitely keep them in mind whenever I feel like replacing the glass in my windows or doing a new shower enclosure.
