Our company was founded over 70 years ago by the Hill family and located in Cook, a small town in Northeastern Minnesota. Since our inception as a wood products manufacturer, we have evolved through various technologies, products, and markets to meet the ever changing wood products business environment. Our name in the wood products industry has become synonymous with Problem Solving and Customer Satisfaction. As always, our products are made in America, at our factory still located in Cook, Minnesota.
Services
Some of the strengths of Hill Wood Products include fully integrated product control, diversification and efficient raw material usage. By selecting synergistic products we are able to maintain efficiency and cost controls for our customers. The Ashawa difference is one you will discover the first time you step foot on your beautiful new floor and one you will continue to enjoy for years to come.
Regionally, we help other wood products producers by accepting 100,000 tons of wood waste per year for processing into usable biomass fuel. Contact us about your wood waste. Sawdust used for industrial fuel is one of the fiber products produced here. The majority of this product is processed through our large dehydration plant, screened and refined to a fine dust for suspension burning.
Our partners come to us for our manufacturing expertise; they stay with us because of our commitment to the relationship. We know this well and make every effort to maintain win-win relationships with our business partners. The extraordinarily high level of repeat business enjoyed by Hill Wood Products has been earned by the demanding standards of quality, price and delivery which are the trademarks of the Hill family members and employees who still control the company and its operations from the felled tree in the forest to the reliable Hill Trucking driver that, in many cases, delivers the parts to the customer's door.

My floors is terrible quality. Splits all down the middle of the boards. Very disappointed. I am out a lot of money. They only want to replace certain boards and count 23 while I count at least a 100+. Sorry lot's of song and dance here.
