Precise focus on industrial clients results in consistent and reliable products. Flexible production and friendly service deliver gypsum where you need it; when you need it. Modern equipment, efficient processes, and a centralized location with rail, truck and barge access delivers gypsum at a reasonable cost.

Low pay, little to no communication from management which lead to a bad work culture. Benefits are below average at average premiums. Old, unsafe equipment, the sacks hardly ever stayed consistent. Stacking in warehouse unsafe. Truck scale too small they have a non-standard hand-written system for weighing each truck. If you make it into the coveted mill watching position you can milk it for the paycheck, but there is no training structure.

I had sick leave accrued and the company chose not to pay it out when I left, even though I never felt I could take it because they never hired a second person for the warehouse after the other guy quit without notice. Multiple COVID scares and some positives because masks weren't enforced. Used to be good when the original J A Jack Owner actually took care of his people, way before my time there. A shadow of a husk
