Our engineering department is always looking for ways to improve our products. Whether it's the introduction of retractable ratchet or our patented nylon hand truck; Harper consistently challenges the marketplace. Located in Wichita, Kansas, our plant is comprised of 350,000 square feet with 50,000 square feet reserved for finished inventory. Our manufacturing process consists of automated presses and dies feeding 18 robotic welders that produce a quantity of 5,000 units per day. The precision of the robotic welders ensures the highest quality products.

I got one of their convertible hand trucks as a gift from a family member, who had bought from Amazon and had shipped from Amazon. When I opened and assembled it (easy), I could tell it was a good design. But one part had been damaged in shipment. I emailed Harper's customer service with a photos of the damage. The next morning I got an email from Harper saying the part was on its way, and I got it a few dys later.
I probably won't need to buy another hand truck because this one seems very well made, but when I'm gifting one to someone else Harper is going to be top of the list. Or maybe Harper will just be the "list". Thanks!

This company made the stair roller housing out of plastic which of course failed. Contacted the company more than once to see about replacement parts and they dont even respond. Left me feeling unimportant and unhappy. Do yourself a favor and buy someone else's product. You'll probably get better customer service.
