Very disappointed in Hanson Windows for being a company that's been in business for many years they had a crew come out and look at my mobile home trailer to put up gutters. At the time it was a middle of winter below zero in a snowstorm. The guys were freezing and they put up 80 ft of gutters on both sides of my trailer. So since the ground was frozen in the winter and it thawed in the summer I have big buckles in my gutters and they will not repair them they blamed it on us for doing repairs on our trailer when we did nothing on our trailer. So Hanson Windows were not back there policy up they just said we were liars and took off

Mike and his team did an outstanding job. Him and all of his fellow workers were very professional, polite and well mannered. They exceeded my expectations by doing many things I did not expect them to do like cleaning the gutters, painting everything except my satellite dish to match the roof, improving all transitions from the roof to the vents and such.

During the process they were always concerned with my thoughts and opinions and kept me in the loop. Their cleanup both days was very good. To this point I am very satisfied with their work and would definitely recommend them. Please share my thoughts with Mike and his crew. Shawn

We were so impressed with our window project! The team that did the install was so helpful and professional. They went above & beyond and provided quality service. To top it off, part of the house's siding wasn't built properly for the casement window we ordered, however one team member completely fixed the problem. If I could give 10 stars I would, highly recommend!

HIGHLY Recommend Hanson's! I had an awesome experience. It started with Sheri my fantastic sales rep coming to my house to go over my options and give a demonstration on how the windows save on energy costs, as well as going over the tax credit, and the referral program, etc. Next the measuring man came to my house (I forget his name) and he was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and I felt even more confident that my windows would be done right.

Then several weeks later Marty and the crew came for my install. They were extremely fast and knowledgeable, and Marty took the time after to show me the window operation and safety features and how to take apart for cleaning. I had 16 windows converted to 12 but the installation only took about 5 and a half hours, which I was very impressed. I appreciated that Sheri was very honest and told me it could be 10-12 week wait time until my windows could be installed, but it wound up being less than 7 weeks between my in home estimate and the day of my install.

Another company I got an estimate from said that their company's wait time was 6 months, which was another reason I chose Hanson's. I also really appreciate that this company offers a 5% military discount with ID, and you can get another 5% off if you put a Hanson's sign in your yard for 30 days.

Poor customer service from start to finish. We scheduled a quote for gutters and the sales rep clearly only cares about selling you windows. After his 2 hour sales pitch we never even had a chance to discuss if we needed siding under our gutters since it looked in pretty bad shape to me. After booking the gutters i reached out to the project manager about doing the siding.

He asked for pictures to evaluate and then never responded to my pictures or my follow up emails. Then with a 24 hour notice they showed up for the gutter install. The young men who installed broke a Christmas decoration out front, threw out my gutter extenders (now my gutters empty right into the foundation. Perfect), and left nails everywhere. Also a spot in my back yard is leaking worse with the new gutters than i did with the old ones.

Still waiting on a reply if they will come finish the job. Update: The young men who keep coming out to caulk the gutters are nice. However the underlying problem is being ignored. project manager slow to respond if she responds at all. It has been 3 months and my gutters are still leaking. Second Update: Hanson's informed me an entire team would have to come out to replace the gutters.

I called multiple times and was advised to place an online service request, which was done April 14th. I am still waiting to hear back and the gutters are still leaking after 6 months.

I order 3 windows and sliding door and siding when they took my old siding off they took to a scrap yard to make money off me. after Hanson charging me 32,000 for all this. im pissed I think they just ripped people off.

I selected 1800 Hansons over another local company because they offered a lifetime warranty and were comparable in price. They installed in January on a 15 degree day and said when we get a nice sunny day it will seal. March came and we had a nice sunny day, but instead, the entire roof buckled. I have been trying to get it fixed for 2 months now.

After a month the finally got a crew out who stated that half of the roof needed to be pulled off and completely redone. It's been a month and no word. I can't get anyone to answer my calls.

I used Hansons to install four windows and a door wall. I was told this should take 4-12 weeks. I understand it's Covid time and they are short staffed but they didn't even keep in contact. They came out couple times for measurements. Took six months to come out and install windows. Kept telling me my association took too long to respond which is not accurate because I was cc'd on the email and my association responded right away.

They show up 6 months later and installed windows that were already damaged. They packed up to leave so I called my rep and told him the door wall was not installed. He spoke to the employees that showed up and they stated that Hansons called me and was to tell me that the door wall measurement was input in the computer incorrectly so it's too small. They would not have told me if I didn't ask. I now have to wait another 4 weeks for a door wall.

Wish I could give them -10 stars! The salesman was pushy and rude, didn't even explain to us all the options available and what to expect. From start to finish the whole process was slow, unprofessional, sloppy, unfinished and all around crappy. Half the windows were broken when they got there and the framing still isn't right. They also sprayed foam insulation all over my back yard knowing I had a dog and it could have killed him if he ate it.

Then when you call and ask for help they don't want to be of any assistance and don't even bother trying to get in touch with your project manager. All they care about is billing. they are sure prompt and quick about that. Avoid 1-800 hansons at all cost. They hide all the comments and feedback online for a reason.

The guy who came out give me all wrong measurements. And when they take pictures everything is covering up with aluminum they don't take pictures before the job they take after the job when everything is covered up nice and neat I wish I can give them no stars. I recommend not want to go to Hansen they got the worst job ever and this is the number one in Michigan they're lying

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING! If I could leave less than one star I would. We hired Hanson's nearly a year ago to do our siding on our house. It's now been nine weeks since the project started and it's still not complete. The installers are pigs and terrible at their jobs! Nails, screws, razor blades, cigarette butts, sharp pieces of siding as well as food and garbage left all over our yard.

The installers also peed in our backyard in several places (we have video proof). They have trampled landscaping, moved large rocks without permission and the siding looks so bad thus far. Fortunately we have it ALL documented on cameras. We have had little to no communication on what to expect throughout the entire project and when Marco does communicate, it's all lies.

This has been the worst experience of our lives. There are so many mistakes and places that need to be fixed, but we know that even though we have a guarantee, we won't get anything accomplished after the project is done. In the end we'll be hiring someone else to fix the mistakes. They did not pull permits to get the work done and therefore there have been no inspections. Like all of the other reviews here: YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.STAY AWAY FROM HANSON'S!

I was promised no interest until summer of 2022 but that's not the financing I was given and had finance charges right away. When I called the office they told me I should have read the finance contract and not accepted it. The crew arrived without the supervisor and it was difficult to converse with them because they either pretended they didn't understand me or didn't understand me.

Although they used their magnet to pick up nails, I'm constantly finding loose nails and groups of nails from nail guns in the landscaping and driveway. They promised cleanup of old tiles and tar paper but I'm constantly finding pieces in landscaping and lawn. I asked them to make sure the gates were closed and secured but they didn't, I'm glad I checked them before I let my dogs outside.

Very poor experience with this company. Had roof replaced and and was told siding would be completed within 8-12 weeks. Roofers left hanging shingles and down wires and had to return after complaining. Roofers left attic exposed by removing siding trim around eaves which allowed birds to enter the attic. At the 12 week point, Hanson's extended siding install date another 8 weeks out with excuses.

They are now 6 months past their initial 8-12 week deadline as they come up with new excuses every 8 weeks. Hanson's advised they would not cover eaves left open by their roofers and had to board up areas my self. Severely disappointed in this company and would highly not recommend to others.

We have been waiting for over a year to have an extension sided to match the house which they sided 2 years ago.when we call to see what is going on they say someone will call back within 24 hours (same response over 25 times.) In addition wind damage and gutter damage suppose to be repaired under their warranty also no action nor communication. Partial supplies dropped off in June, installers stopped in July and said there was not enough siding. What was there us now damaged and broke, and still no response when calling.

This company is quite the scam. We had someone come out and measure our front window to replace it. We agreed to it, signed the agreement for work, and were approved for financing. We get a call that the window we ordered wouldn't fit but that we'd be upgraded to the one that would at no charge. I signed the document and sent an approval over email.

They said the work would be started in October (6 weeks). I get a call from Gary (the worst regional manager ever), who proceeded to leave the rudest voicemail to call him back with no explanation. I called him back TEN times over a 2 week period. Come to find out he didn't want to replace my window with an upgraded one so the crew literally just never showed up. What kind of business is this? Go somewhere else and run as fast as you can from this place.

Window installers, smoked like chimneys, butts all over my yard, actually asked my wife to help move furniture, did not arrive with the proper tools to complete the job, large window was heavy so they rolled it to the back opening instead of carrying it properly. Siding crew, didn't speak English, had to force them to properly tape the house wrap, damaged my grill and didn't say a word to us, it was already damaged by hail so apparently they didn't feel the need. Removed Ring doorbell with a crowbar after being told to leave it and I would remove it, removed outside lights with the power on, shorted and tripped the breaker, when putting siding back on for lights the wires were to short so they were basically left inside the siding, New siding was thicker, forced handrail back into place as far as they could, used a phillips screw driver on square head screws stripping them even though the railing wasn't even close to being in the correct location.

Hand rail needed to be shortened 3/4 to fit correctly. Not to mention that I am still picking up nails and pieces of siding out of my yard. Now all that being said, I voiced my concerns, the regional manager reached out to me, I gave him all this same information, was told 4 weeks ago that the operations Manager would reach out to me to make sure everything was good, still waiting.

Now I have customer service calling me demanding I pay the remaining balance which I will do tonight. Was promised that they only hire the best contractors to complete the work, now I am wishing I would have done the work myself to make sure it was done correctly.

Rough from the start to finish - and it isn't over yet! Reached out to Hanson's for 7 windows and one door wall replacement. They came out, measured everything, provided a quote and we decided to move forward. Was informed there would be a 6-8 week lead time. Took 12 weeks. Installers show up and the first window they attempt to install doesn't fit.

Rough start. They put the old window back in and said they'll order a new one - see ya in 6-12 weeks. They proceed to install the rest of the windows. They all fit fine. Do a lap around the house to inspect the work and it turns out they installed every window with white trim (ordered black), cracked the door wall frame and dented the aluminum trim outside above the door wall.

So at this point, they doubled the expected lead time, incorrectly measured a window that's going to take another 12 weeks to get here, install the wrong trim color, crack the door wall and dent the trim. Not what you expect when you pay $10k. I reach out to my salesman and project manager. Nobody answers. We leave messages and can't get a call back. Insanity. There are 7 commonly known "Wonders of the world". The 8th Wonder of the World is how Hansons stays in business with this type of customer experience. Figure it out

I got a call back telling me my product would be in on October 29th. I called on 11/5/2021 and was told my product would not be in until mid to late November. That is what the report from the manufacture says. I place my order back in May 2021. When I placed my order I was told it would be installed in the first part of July.

Original roof install was in 2017, after dealing with claim department for leaking and poor workmanship they decided to replace my roof again (2019) Here it is 2021 guess what leaking again! 4 spots this time. Wife sent in help ticket September 14th never heard back called again today and not to my surprise they will have someone call us back. We are overly disgusted with the whole experience with hansons.

We have thousands of dollars in damage to the inside of our home now. This Lifetime guarantee is a joke. Poor workmanship and quality of products continually ruin my home! Hopefully we can have a different company come and fix out roof the correct way!

I scheduled an appointment with three companies today for an estimate on replacement windows for our home. Hansons is the only one that didn't show up. I called when they were 15 minutes late and was told that because they could not confirm my appointment, they would not be showing up. Really? I have voicemail at home and on my cell phone. I don't answer 800 number phone calls with no name - I'm sure few people do. I guess you don't need business that bad. You've lost mine.

Had a appointment for a roofing estimate salesman showed up riding shotgun with his wife/girlfriend didn't even measure and gave 25K estimate thats with 50% off installation hate to see the price with no discount told me 5 times he's on commission and will give me a great price. Told him he's nuts came down to 16k but price was only good for the day. Siding estimate was pushing 40k simple ranch home got two estimates Since roof was 8-10k are they price gouging or is a "Hanson roof" that much better. one company came in at 15k for roof and siding.

I only gave a 1 star because we received the materials. Don't deal with this business. Save yourself time and money. They don't return any service calls, they take even longer to repair- like months and months. Then it still is not satisfactory. We had a full house if windows, siding and roof on house, garage and pole barn. Our siding from multiple walls had fallen off after the first light storm. Took months and several calls to the call center and managers to finally get them out again.

Finally a different crew came out and the siding still fell down. We currently have siding laying on the ground. I called May 19th and still have not received a callback. I just called again. The receptionist said the scheduling manager would get on it. My husband and I completely regret going with Hansons.

We have used Hanson's for all of our window needs in the past. David (no last name provided) came out to give us a quote. He walked into our home and turned his nose up right away as we are in the middle of a move and there are boxes and items around the house. I told him exactly what I was looking for and he asked me 3 different ways/times if my husband was available.

I explained I am more then capable of making decisions and did not need my husband's permission. He then proceeded to ask me personal questions and continued to insult me. After I cut him short as I didn't need a 3 hour presentation (nor did I care to hear him bash every other company) and was attempting to work from home, he got even more agitated.

When he finally gave me a quote and I told him I needed to think about it he again told me to call my husband. He also kept trying to give me "incentives" to sign up that day as I would "never get such a good deal again; and it would be difficult to get someone scheduled to come out again". I politely declined again and he stormed out of my house like a child.

He left zero contact information. I called Hanson's and asked for a callback and never received one. I have inquired online as well. It is an absolute shame that a company like Hanson's doesn't value customer service.

I am active duty marine corps just moved to this duty station and bought a house I had broken windows so I went to look up company's and this company popped up. Little did I know it was Complete trash they messed up the order I called the regional manager and he told me it was my fault and basically for lack of better words to bad so sad. I told The salesman I wanted the windows to match the house he finds the color and said he put it in then when the windows get here there white so now I have white windows and brown windows on my house.

Every time I called to get it fixed they told me it was my fault and that I need to pay an additional 2,000 dollars on top of the $6,000 if I wanted to fix it. Then to top it off they installed a broken window! Months later when they came to fix it they said I had to pay $130. This is an absolute trash company the sales man Andrew, the regional manager we're complete assholes!

Terrible customer service! I would absolutely never recommend the company not even to my worst enemy! Do not do it save your money! I will never do business again with them rudest people I've ever had to deal with!

Horrible customer service experience that we are still dealing with months later with an issue with a window not functioning correctly not resolved. Changed installation date on us twice and date for technician to come look at problem changed 3 times. Extremely hard to get in contact with someone who can help you. Would not go back!

I contracted with Hanson's for a new living room window in August. After months of waiting, the installation was scheduled for Nov 10. They called the day of the planned installation to inform me they had to cancel. It was rescheduled for Nov 21. The morning of Nov 21 they called and said they had to cancel again. I have a garden window that they installed a couple years ago and is under warranty.

The seal is broken and needs to be replaced. The parts have been on order for about five months. DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOU EXCUSES!

Just had a nice sit down with one of the reps. So 36k for siding with a wonderful option of: (a.) Shell out 36k and see what happens (b.) Finance it through a loan with 984.per month (Seriously?) (c.) have the same job done using another local contractor for 11k. I choose c.just saying.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Paid in full 12 months ago. Siding installed in late December and gutter installed in February. Siding was not installed properly and has warped throughout. Company is HORRIBLE at communicating and will only return calls when you call multiple times. We are still waiting for action. Meanwhile, we have discovered a giant wasp nest in the gaps in the buckled siding!

We got 17 windows total for our house. I have extended family that lives an hour away who got 4 windows, and we got better windows and we paid less for 17 than they paid for 4. The worst part was waiting for the windows to be manufactured. I called Hansons to check on the status and not only did they give me a status, on that same call they scheduled the install. The installer was awesome. He worked around our schedule. There is nothing Hansons could have done better - it was a fantastic job

I requested to get a quote with 1800-Hansons. Everything was going great, with the coronavirus going on they went through a virtual presentation with me. They gave me a price that was just simply out of my price range and I let them know that. They offered me a lower price if I put one of their signs out in the yard. I told him I would have to talk my wife and get back to him and he wanted me to go get her while I was on the call with him.

I explained I wanted to talk to her privately about it. He said he walk call back in 40 minutes. When he called back I informed him we were going to pass and he kept me on the line while he called his boss. From there, they took a turn and got more pushy. They tried guilt tripping me and basically said they need to do these jobs to keep their guys working.

They offered me some more money off and he told me he would give me 10 minutes to decide. I did not feel comfortable dealing with a company that expected me to agree to a $13,000-$18,000 decision on the spot. A good car salesman would not expect someone to buy the first car they test drive. Same should go for a roof salesman. The fact that they tried guilt tripping me as well was a put off.

I understand they have to pay their workers but I am not going through the same thing they are. So I cannot put myself in a financial situation I cannot afford. Nothing worse than an over pushy sales pitch.

Get it done? When? These guys are extremely reactive and professional on the sales end, but if you need service after the sale just forget about it. They make it very hard to reach anybody and encourage you to make servi requests by email. They made me pay in advance to get my gutters repaired. The check has cleared and I've been leaving phone messages daily to get the work scheduled.

Nobody will call me back. Maybe a small claims court summons will get their attention. I shouldn't have to work this hard to get this done. Next time I'll go with Mr. Roof. At least they're responsive. Update: They decided to send us a $50 refund which was really nice. Problem is that they sent the check to my deceased mother! Another epic fail. They said they'd send a replacement check. Still waiting. I am so done with these people.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this business to anyone I know. There was some confusion in getting the quote scheduled but that isn't the worst of it. They subcontract all the work out to other companies. I met with them in May. The work was supposed to be done in July. It was just done. I looks great but there were some issues with communication for the install.

The guy on the job was initially not very friendly but slowly warmed up after his hangover improved. They are sending reps out to get your business but they don't have enough workers to complete the work. The siding looks great though.

These guys quoted me $18,000 for siding and gutters, with high pressure sales. I recd quotes from 4 other companies for under $8,000 for the same work, same materials, and didn't even need to be home to get the quotes. Message me if you want a list, all highly rated on homeadvisor, google and Angie's list. They now offer 6 year financing, and you will need it for their prices.
