Seeking new and innovative ways to improve our internal processes is the backbone of our success and overall competitiveness globally. At GMP Metal Products, we are committed to quality and continuous improvement, so we are naturally ISO 9001:2015 certified. We integrate lean principles into our product and process designs and execution of Kaizen events and other cost reduction activities are commonplace in our facilities.
With plants in St. Louis, Missouri and Humboldt, Tennessee, GMP Metal Products offers comprehensive manufacturing capabilities including laser cutting, fabricating, stamping, forming, deep drawing, welding and metal finishing. Our 1500 ton press capability is coupled with very large bed sizes and supported by many lesser size and tonnage presses.
We take great pride in our ability to provide creative, problem-solving ideas for our customers. Our lean focus is evident in all of our product designs, helping to wring cost out of-and build quality into-every project we produce. Our engineers have the ability to produce parts from prototype to production, backed by a dedicated project team focused on meeting client objectives.
With three full-scale plants featuring a combined 70 presses-ranging up to 1,500 tons with large bed sizes- GMP has the mass of capabilities to meet the fabrication demands of more than a few heavyweight manufacturers. We produce stamped and fabricated parts including hoods, fenders, and chassis components for John Deere, Caterpillar, General Dynamics, and Bobcat, just to name a few. But it takes more than just industrial might to work with major defense, agriculture, construction, and specialty equipment manufacturers.
