Been waiting for a piece of glass since November 22nd to replace a broken window. No proactive communication by either companies between me, home pros the contractor or gilcrest. Glass finally comes in the wrong grill cover which per Bob at home pros nobody's fault except windsor. The email from home pros indicates since glass came in sealed package they didn't know? So we don't ck package for accuracy and the Mgr hasn't called back for 2 days

Delivery was fast no overnight parking in their yard but can park on the street outside their building. Flatbed drivers.

We paid for our trim on April 30th and we still have not received it. Poor communication and slow to respond. We listened to our contractors recommendation to use local and BIG MISTAKE. It has delayed our project to have our doors and trim installed because of their delay. Will not recommend them to anyone Edit: a day after it was delivered we called to have the trim picked up and we were told it would be two weeks. Here we are a month and a half later, 5 phone calls later and several people telling me it would be a "hot ticket" and it is still not picked up.

My fiance and I are very disappointed in this company. We no longer will be purchasing materials from here for any of our business needs. We typically buy decking for around $8 a board but they charged us over $20. We asked why their prices were so much higher than anywhere else. The sales rep told us " we are the only ones that have them so go buy them somewhere else." This was so disrespectful.

Instead of reassuring us in a more professional way they decided to push good customers away. We own a small business trying to make it through COVID 19. This company is not supportive of local small businesses. They would rather use and abuse their customers by price gouging for person benefit. I love helping other businesses and sharing wealth to help communities grow. this company is only out for themselves and are disrespectful. It's sad. They should get in trouble for this extreme price gouging.

I was happy with the customer service they provided, pricing was competitive and I also liked that they deliver at no charge. However, I was extremely disappointed at the quality of the wood. A lot of the wood was badly warped and dirty. I worked with what I got but was definitely bummed considering I spend over a $1,000 on material.

If you can go anywhere else, I would. Purchased lumber for a deck project from here. When they picked up the left over lumber for the return I was not credited the full amount. I had to request an itemized return receipt and then had to remember what was sent back. They didn't credit me for $360 worth of decking boards due to damage and "dirty" boards. It wasn't until I asked about why I wasn't credited that they asked if I wanted to boards back. Incredibly poor customer service.

Recently my husband and I were visiting your showroom looking for replacement windows for our son's house. We were very impressed with your staff and particularly their knowledge of Windsor Windows & Doors. We walked away with more than enough knowledge about the great products Windsor provides to make an informed decision. THANK YOU!

Good luck. Although quality is good, service isn't. Twice I've been told via phone that something was in stock only to learn that it wasn't. Both times the story was the same once I arrived, "I don't know who would have told you that but they must be ignorant and we can order it for you". I've heard this same story from other customers a well. Anything for a commission?

As an individual home owner that was remodeling our kitchen, I was extremely disappointed in the timeliness in getting the supplies ordered. In August we had the supplies picked out, with plans to start the project the first of December. This date did not change. Our contractor was efficient, helpful, and unfortunately delayed due to not having the supplies delivered in a timely manner.

We ordered flooring, cabinets, and countertop thru Gilcrest Jewett. The flooring was available on time. When I was told the cabinets would be available the next day and final payment was due, I was willing to give my credit card number. This was the first time I had used the credit card for this project. Before I could give the number I was reminded that credit cards have limits, which I found to be rude since the staff at the company had no knowledge of my card.

The cabinets were delivered after expected and one had to be reordered due to being the incorrect size. It was an additional two weeks to obtain the one that was the correct size. The person that measures the counter top came without a measuring tape. We were told that the company providing the counter top takes a week off between Christmas and New Year's, after cabinets were delivered.

I feel we should have known this upfront. The counter top always took two weeks to obtain and came in twice with a scratch. We decided to change companies after two scratched tops, only to be told we were responsible for the entire counter top bill if we changed companies. Only after attempting to set up a meeting with management did our money for the cabinets get returned. As a supplier to individuals, I do not recommend this company. What was expected to take 2-3 weeks to complete took 2 1/2 months.

I was highly disappointed in my experience with Gilcrest Jewett. We were updating our kitchen partially by switching to quartz countertops, adding a tile backsplash, and changing a small cabinet/countertop to a pantry. We had everything all picked out except for the tile. So, it was really an easy job for this company as they didn't really have to do much work with us in selecting what we wanted.

The designer we worked with really dropped the ball. We went in on a Saturday to select our tile. She told us she'd get back with us in 3 days. She did not. I attempted to contact her, but my attempt went ignored. We finally heard from her 14 days later emailing the documents she was supposed to have sent 11 days prior with no explanation and no reference to my attempted contact.

She just said, "So sorry. Don't know if your'e still interested. Here are the papers." We didn't feel comfortable proceeding with them at this point. But, I did call and talk with a manager to explain to him what went wrong. I figured he should and might want to know. I guess I was wrong. He acted concerned and said he'd follow up with the designer we had worked with and would get back to me.

A month and a half later, I've heard nothing. So, I guess they didn't want our piddly little job, but I think the way this was handled speaks volumes. Not just one person dropped the ball, but two people.
