I had bought some finished maple ply for a desk I built a while back and was quite pleased. I called them recently for four 4 step stringers to build stairs for a middle school theater set. I thought he said they would be $30 a pair when we were on the phone. That is $5 more than buying them at a big box, and Im more than happy to pay a bit more for a local lumber (usually better quality work!) When i checked my statement yesterday they had charged me over $120 for the 4 pieces which would have been literally $40 at lowes. My dad has been a contractor for 30 years now and agrees this was a flipping rip off. Conclusion: great lumber - rip off millwork.sorry guys
