For topsoil and potting soils, bark and mulches, sphagnum peat moss and professional mixes, decorative stone and lime and other specialty products, Gardenscape and Butterfield Farms brands are the industry standards for the wholesale market. Gardenscape is growing by adding new plants and products. In 2010 we acquired a limestone and marble quarry in Gouverneur, NY and are expanding our product availability from this new facility that reaches Canada, New England and the Mid Atlantic states. Recent new products include our Professional Landscape Planting Mix and Butterfield Farms Lawn & Garden Soil.

More than fifty-five years ago, Dave Kasmoch Sr. started offering Pittsburgh area lawn and garden centers a new concept in wholesale lawn and garden products. He not only sold the best brands, but also stockpiled the products and delivered them in his own trucks. In 1979 he moved to the Emlenton, Pennsylvania area and started Gardenscape.
Gardenscape has six company owned bagging and distribution facilities, four of which have over 100 acres each. Two are located in Pennsylvania, one each in Ohio, New York and North Carolina, and a Canadian sphagnum peat bog in Grande-Anse, New Brunswick, that covers over 700 acres. In addition, we utilize other packaging plants throughout the Eastern part of the United States and Canada. Our main office is located in Eau Claire, Pennsylvania.
Gardenscape and Gardenpride brand products are top quality lawn and garden products offered at competitive prices. The finest raw materials are sourced, then combined, stockpiled, composted and screened prior to production. Soil products are routinely checked for content and consistency. In addition to Gardenscape and Gardenpride products we offer Butterfield Farms brand products.
