There isn't any glare on the tv and we can sit at our dining room table without squinting from the sun. They were very professional and explained the process very well. We were very pleased with our experience with Five Star Window Coatings. Just before our film was to be applied, we found out that we would have some transom windows replaced due to a warranty issue. Five Star was very accommodating and made a second trip to install the film on the transom windows after they were replaced. The installers were very professional and did the job very quickly.

The film itself is nearly impossible to detect, but definitely reduces the harsh sun we get from our western exposure (especially through the slider). We would HIGHLY recommend Five Star for window film applications!

Hot, Hot, Hot We have 3 large windows in our great room and a slider with a transom and the heat coming in thru the windows was incredible. We google window tinting and found 5 Star Window Coatings. Contacted them and Nick came out and presented 3M Brand options and provided a quote. I wanted to maintain the light but reduce the heat, We decided on 3M Climate Control 75 Series Window Film, it also retains heat in the winter.

We schedule installation a couple weeks later and Rick arrived to do the install. Wow instant difference the heat coming thru my double pane windows was literally gone and I didn't lose the light/view. Both Nick and Rick were great to work with and I highly recommend 5 Star Window Coatings!
