Services
FET Engineering, Inc. was established in historic Bardstown, Kentucky in 1987 and began production operations in 1988. The company is a subsidiary of Kyokuto Seiki, a global tooling manufacturer with four plants located near the industrial port city of Nagoya, Japan. Our Bardstown plant, in cooperation with Kyokuto, supports the tooling needs of our customers worldwide.
The electroforming process is effective in producing durable molds of high complexity while maintaining superior resolution and precision. With over 30 years of electroform nickel tooling experience, we have refined each step of our process to optimize the quality, cost, and delivery of our products.
Our vacuum forming molds are expertly designed to meet the needs of our customers. With our in-house MAAC machine, trial parts can be run to assure your vacuum tool runs perfectly before it leaves our shop. We have supplied female shells, male tooling, with in-mold grain (IMG), and in-mold grain laminate (IMGL), as well as standalone and built in trim-blades.
Our precision tooling solutions assist in meeting bottom line manufacturing goals of repeatability, consistency, accuracy, and cycle time reduction. This includes complete design, engineering, modeling, manufacturing, certifications, and fixture modifications. We are also prepared to handle the implementation of engineering change instructions (ECI) for alterations in production parts.
