J. Cecil Ferguson founded the company in 1927 as the J.C. Ferguson Manufacturing Works, to supply centrifugal liners and other products to the sugar industry. In 1937, the Providence facility was built and the company was reincorporated as Ferguson Perforating and Wire Company. Prior to WWII, Ferguson developed the know-how to manufacture perforated metal screens and soon after Ferguson became the premier company worldwide for perforated metal screens, and other metal filtration parts.In 1972 Cecil Ferguson's son, Bruce, became president of the company.

Ferguson Perforating produces perforated product to support the Architects, General Contractors or Mechanical installers in a variety of material types, especially Aluminum, Galvanized or Cold Rolled Steel for building construction, renovation or expansion. We are able to get the perforated sheets extremely flat for additional processes of laser cutting, bending, shearing or painting.

WARNING! Semi truck drivers ask to dock on the street side dock for shipping. The back side dock is really dangerous because you have to blind side and there's a hanging low wire. I almost got electrocuted. Receiving dock is kinda hectic but doable.
