A ridge vent is needed if your attic has open space that can collect air. It is always a good idea to have Soffit vents, they make a more efficient ventilation system by pushing air out more quickly. 3 ft is code. We recommend 6 ft along the drip edge and 1 1/2 ft to 3 ft along the rake boards and ridge.
ENH works with many distinguished builders and architects on custom homes and buildings. These jobs require unique roofing and exterior trim such as copper, lead coated copper, and zinc custom fabrication to provide detail, as well as cedar, slate, and synthetic tiles that emulate such looks as cedar and slate.

Erik and Anna were very nice to work with to set up a roof and gutter replacement. Erik and his crew were extremely professional when they were on our property, even returning the next day to make sure the cleanup was complete (it was an very windy day when they did the work). Erik at ENH is fantastic to work with. Job was done on time and on budget. He and his crew did excellent work ripping off the two layers of existing roof and installing the new one. We recently had ENH replace our roof and we are very happy with the job they did. Their bid came in lower than any other company, their signs are all over town (Guilford) so they do A LOT of work on the shoreline, and finally their team of roofers were quick and efficient. The roof replacement was done in a single day, the new shingles matched our existing perfectly and they cleaned up completely after the job was done. Great company and quality workmanship!

ENH recently completed a large roofing project at my home in Madison. They did an excellent job. They notified me when they would be coming. They showed up when they said they would. They completed the job in three days; including a complete tear-off as well as roof repair work. They cleaned up at the completion of each work day. Very professional and reasonably priced. Stellar company - Erik, Anna, and all employees were a pleasure to do business with. A company with integrity. I came out of a nightmare roofing job a month prior and had to have the full roof replaced down to the plywood- the previous roofer left me with 5 huge water flowing leaks coming out of ceiling light fixtures and window casings. ENH started the job a week early and due to a forecast of rain brought in additional employees to get it done prior to the arrival of an enormous rain storm - full plywood, shingles, vents, some flashing all done within a single day! Finally at peace in a dry home- can't thank them enough!
