The selection they have is limited but the service was nice. We called before we came as we were far out, but they weren't specific about what they had in stock. Probably a nice place but just didn't have we needed at the time. We were looking for a zero turn lawnmower for residential use and they had two that were huge and wouldn't fit our needs.

These are white people who own a business in a part of town where the people are predominantly black and these people are very very racist. Any positive reviews on this dump are fake! I took my riding mower to them only to have the carburetor cleaned or replaced and these people changed me $500! I only paid 300 for the mower! I can get a whole car engine replaced for that much money!

When I complained about them ripping me off they were very condescending and very rude! They do not hide their hatred. They do not appreciate us or our business. I am in the process of suing them now. I don't want them scamming anymore people and I can only imagine how they treat our elderly! Please find someone else to serve your lawnmower and lawn care needs even if you have to go to another part of town!

A carburetor for my mower only has 5 screws and takes maybe 15 minutes tops to replace! These people are racist and they are ripping off the African American community please shop elsewhere! If they treated people in the store the way they do in these comments, they would have no issues.

I needed a tune up kit for my 12.5hp Kawasaki walk behind mower. They had everything I needed and were very helpful. They have a nice showroom and plenty of stock. I will be back.

I have to be honest here. Their parts are extremely high compared to other business's in this similar field. With that said, I don't see how their still in business in that part of town. They had general knowledge about the parts but not about all of it's uses. I ask questions (playing dumb) about certain parts knowing the answer and he just says. "I don't know." That's really dismissive.

Not only that. You're turning money away. If you don't know, find out and make that sale. The internet exist for a reason. If your buying lawn mowers though, it's a good place.

Couldn't even get passed a phone call to do business with them. Lady who answers the phone threw me on hold the first three times without saying anything other than "Eljays" from what I could understand. I thought we were getting cut off so I kept calling back and she finally listened enough to tell me she's with someone. She puts me on hold again but this time we're disconnected. Bad first impression. Moving on to another business.

I needed a part for my Craftsman lawn tractor. No one else in the area was willing to help me. Scott (and his father) treated me as if I was family and helped me with personal attention that's worth showcasing on this sight. I certainly recommend them with all your equipment needs with this family owned business.

I brought in my 20 year old John Deer push mower that has been sitting in storage for the past 15 years. They tuned it up. It was relatively quick (given that it was spring). The price was reasonable. The lawn mower runs like a dream. I recommend this place for lawn mower repair. My only complaint is that in late May/ early June 2020, none of the employees were wearing face masks.

The business policies and procedures are set up in a way to take advantage of the customers. They want to secure your mower in their possession before giving you even a slight idea of what repairs are needed, and the cost that may be involved. They ask for your phone number, but they don't take a moment to give you a call before "repairing" things that are unnecessary, and charging you for things that aren't needed.

I just spent $138 for a "new" carburetor, in which I was not given the "old" one. And I was told that the carburetor was "gummed up" from fuel being left in the mower over the winter.but, my mower had been stored all winter WITHOUT fuel in it. And, common sense tells me that if the carburetor needed cleaning, a REPLACEMENT is not necessary. (keep in mind that this mower was brand new and only used once last season).

A carburetor does not just need replacing after only being used once. By the way.my mower was returned to me after the repair with more dirt and dust and looking more used than ever, after they "replaced" this carburetor. They do this because they are the only repair shop in this immediate area.

I brought my Husqvarna Zero turn 54 in for an oil leak that was out of control. I recently had the entire deck replaced because of a busted baffle. The other place I took her returned her to me with the oil leak after I asked them to check her over completely. Well needless to say I would not go there again which is when I stumbled upon Eljay. I dropped her off.

They were friendly and professional. Replaced a gasket seal and followed up to let me know she was ready. I picked her up she's purring like a kitten and it turned out the repair was under warranty! I highly recommend these guys and I'm sure you will be as delighted as I am with the result!

I personally don't recommend this place. Firstly, it is horrible customer service. The man the shop is completely unfair, they quote prices based upon race. Yes, I said it race. For example, I had a black friend go in to get a lawn mower part to get his mower fixed, and he was charged or quoted 140.00. My friend thought the price seemed unreasonable, so I went there for him to get a quote and he said for you it will be 75.00. That's almost half less of what he said to my friend.

Also as I was in there, I couldn't help but notice the employees were working on a mower and purposely mishandling equipment to make sure the customers have to spend more money to fix their lawn equipment. I highly will tell you do not go to this place, they will give you a bad price, and make your lawn mower more messed up than it was to begin with. It will become a hole in your wallet.
