We have carried over 100 species of domestic & exotic woods of the highest quality throughout the years and it's important to note that some of our specialties are marine & commercial plywoods, domestic & exotic lumber, wood veneers, hardwood flooring & decking, mouldings and exterior cladding.

Edensaw Woods Ltd. has a fully functional CNC department that works in tandem with our milling team to provide our customers with additional time saving options when managing their projects. CNC refers to: Computer Numerical Control. This machine converts designs created in a CAD or Computer Aided Design program into numbers.
Starting in 2007, the ECCF was founded by the employees and owners of Edensaw Woods. Their continual goal is to raise funds to financially assist cancer patients and their families located in East Jefferson County, Washington. Nearly all of Edensaw's employees donate a portion of every paycheck to the ECCF.

On vacation, my wife and I visited Port Townsend Woodworking School. As woodworking enthusiasts our host at PTWS, Lacey, suggested we stop in at Edensaw Woods. WOW, I have been to lumber yards and woodworking stores around the country. Edensaw Woods beats them all. Edensaw Woods is a complete, one stop store. The selection is amazing, fair pricing, and the friendly staff were awesome. I would consider moving to Port Townsend just to shop Edensaw Woods.

Came here to get wood for CPO Vessels. Selection was amazing, staff was happy and very helpful, quality was incredible, price is the best around. Will definitely be making the trip to PT for all my hardwood needs. This store is just awesome, the staff friendly and helpful. My wife has to drag me out. I just love looking around the wood warehouse for my next project. So much to choose from. Go there for any wood and tools, you won't be disappointed. Every time I'm there I don't think I've got out of there within an hour!

Have purchased all my woodworking materials here for the past 12 years, knowingly paying a bit more than I would at AWI because the staff were much more friendly and helpful. Unfortunately that changed today. I was a little disappointed in a recent order and called in hoping to come to a reasonable compromise, but the staff member was extremely rude and unhelpful.
Will take this up with management on Monday and update the outcome here. Update: I actually talked with the owner, within 30 minutes, and he is making everything right. Very impressed and appreciative.

Edensaw is an impressive store; jam packed with top quality tools and woodworking supplies. Then there is the wood showroom which honestly it a bit overwhelming. They have a so many varieties of wood in so many sizes as well as a solid assortment of sheet goods, its hard to take in with a single visit. If you are a ship builder, custom home builder, cabinet maker, artist, or just a person that enjoys woodworking as a hobby this is a must visit place. Lastly, we interacted with several employees in different areas and everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful.

Big selection of different kinds of Hardwoods, s3s or rough. If it's not in the showroom you can go back to the warehouse and pick your pieces with the help of their friendly staff. It's a busy place and if you catch them at lunch they'll be a bit understaffed. Someone will find you and give you a hand; they're all quite polite and helpful! Apart from the trip, their prices are well below other hardwood stores in the Seattle area. If you can make your way out here, the ferry rides are more than covered by the savings.

Omigod. This is the greatest store ever for exotic woods. The selection is gigantic. They easily have more than a million dollars worth of wood; mostly exotics. I was especially grateful to find an enormous choice of fsc lumber; something I've never seen before; even for rare woods. They have a huge selection of 8/4 4/4 and more. I like crosscut hardwoods, but this is ten times better.
If you're wondering where they are, it's about a quarter mile from ikea. The address on yelp seems to be from their old store in Seattle, but this place is in Kent (near Ikea's Renton store).

If you're into woodworking and you live in the Seattle area, you need to discover Edensaw. This is by far the best source for exotic hardwoods, furniture-grade plywood and veneers, and other woodworking supplies. The people working there are all incredibly knowledgeable about the species that they offer. more than 60 in total. Edensaw will do its best to get anything that you need. they accept custom orders even if they're rather small. They operate their own mill in Port Townsend and can easily procure nearly anyt wood product available on the market.
