Since even inexpensive cabinets can costs thousands of dollars to buy and install, it makes sense for homeowners to keep well-built functional cabinets in place and update them with a quality wood face-lift instead of a transplant. Once the new trims and custom built doors are installed, you have a beautiful new kitchen!.
Services
Doors & Drawers manufacturers "what ever it takes" to reface a kitchen since 1978! Although this is a fairly broad statement it confirms the fact that we are a custom manufacturer of not only cabinet doors and drawer fronts but also all the related parts such as end panels, veneers, nic/nac shelves, valances, trims, and custom cabinets that might be required in a refacing project.
Our "niche" in the market is in performing a valuable consulting function for our dealers. A good consultant should have some experience and expertise to go with their advice! Last year Doors & Drawers sold and installed over 120 kitchens. We are well aware of the kind of quality and service it takes to satisfy a residential customer.

They don't pay attention to details and not a good life long fix! I got my cabinets refaced 6 years ago - and the corners are popping up. The corner trim is popping off.

The actual product is good but the one salesperson we worked with is horrifically unprofessional. It started with the initial quote where in the midst of a pandemic, the salesperson attempted to enter our home and talk to us without a mask. My wife asked him to put a mask on at which point he put one on but made an inappropriate comment about how she shouldn't be afraid of COVID-19 because she's young.

Strike 1 but we let that one slide. A couple months later a different worker comes in to do the work. He also didn't wear a mask while working, but didn't mention anything since he was working alone in the laundry room and not directly interacting with us. His work was good. The only complaint is that while applying stain, he got some on the wall and I had to touch up those areas with paint afterwards.

Not a big deal. My wife then fills out the exit survey and mentions the salesperson's behavior during the quote. Today we get a call from the salesperson complaining about the survey results. There is no point to this call except to argue that he wore a mask, which was not even our complaint on the survey. It appeared to be an unprofessional call to the customer to harass us for giving him a bad review, which completely undermines the point of the feedback survey. While it may just be one bad apple in the company, his actions were so egregious that we have no desire to interact with Doors & Drawers ever again.

The price was right at what we were looking for, the quality of the doors and craftsmanship is great. Doug, our salesman was a professional from start to finish. Would highly recommend them.

Talk about taking advantage of a buyer. They wanted $5000 for like 20 doors that are small. For that price I can buy all new cabinets. Rip off do not go here.

We schedule an appointment for an estimate to resurface our kitchen cabinets and never saw our salesman. The appointment time came and went by over an hour. When I called the phone listed I. The local flyer I I was put on hold immediately twice. Finally someone answered on the third try. The person told me she didn't know why Keith didn't show, couldn't get hold of him. " Maybe he had an accident" was her excuse. Never did hear from the salesman.

I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. Oct 29 and 30-Installation. Installer was late both days. Paid them the second half of $10,000. Installer was missing some doors, knobs and restrictor plates. Oct 31-Called to let them know about a hole in one of the doors. Office lady said knobs on back order (2-3 weeks) and the installer will look at door with hole when he comes to install the knobs. Nov 2-Phillip (salesman) came out to look at the door with a hole.

He took it with him for repair. He dropped the door so it had to be rebuilt instead of just repaired. Nov 16-Called D&D for an update. Replacement door won't be done until 11/21, knobs still on back order. Install will be after Thanksgiving. Nov 27-Door is done and knobs are in. Can't get installer out until 12/7. Dec 7-Installer threw out his back. Rescheduled for 12/10. Dec 12-Installer returned after 2 appointments being rescheduled.

He didn't have restrictor plates. Hung the door that replaced the one with the hole and installed all the knobs. No one knew about the lazy susan door being wrong. The hinges for the lazy susan door were on the wrong side so that has to be rebuilt. Jan 2-Replacement lazy susan door finished. Installer should call "this week" to schedule appointment. Jan 10-Called office because haven't heard from installer. Jan 18-Installer late. Lazy susan doors built too large, have to be rebuilt.

Also showed installer that the replacement door from one with the hole is wrong style, has trim the others don't. Also showed him chip out of door under the sink. Both doors need to be rebuilt. Still no restrictor plates. Jan 24-Called office for update. Office is still waiting on installer to give them measurements to rebuild lazy susan door. Earliest they'll be back is mid February.

Our itsy-bitsy bathroom got a much-needed update with the help of Doors & Drawers! The custom cabinets they built maximized the space and met our needs (and our budget) perfectly! I'd recommend them highly!

Make sure they actually fabricate what you expect! Let's separate out the product from the service. Product = 5 stars. Excellent make, perfect finish, hinge placement just right! Sales and measuring = 5 stars. They couldn't make exactly what I wanted but worked with me to get the best alternative solution as I was replacing the ugly arched raised panel doors on cabinet uppers, trying to match the square raised panels on the lower.

Service after that was the problem = 1 star. I drove about 4 hours round trip to pick up my $3000 worth of replacement cabinet doors to install myself. After I reached the point in the installation where the new doors were near old drawer fronts I could see how different the grain was but thought it must be different woodlot issues? When I found two doors were fabricated to the wrong size, I compared my order and measurement paperwork to the shop fabrication order that came with the doors to find the latter was in error (getting replacements quickly was the only reason follow up service does not get "zero stars").

It was then I noted that while the purchase order was for "oak", the shop order was for "hickory". On contacting the office the representative insisted the sample door provided was hickory. It was not; it was one of those standard oak builder's grade cabinets you see in 1980's homes all over the Midwest. If the trash had not already hauled away a few of my old doors I would have demanded a return on the whole mess.

As it is, I try really hard not to notice the woodgrain but right in the brightest part of the kitchen are new hickory doors next to old oak drawers. What should have been a wonderful experience is something I try not to see and I still cringe to notice 4 months later.

Still waiting on a return phone call! we have called several times to get our job rescheduled. The first time they came to our house they had the wrong size cabinet door and not enough trim. This was a very small job.they rebuilt 14 drawers and were adding trim to the kitchen and a cabinet door to our island. They said they would be back within the week to finish the job.

That was 2 months ago. They haven finished work from a job started on April 9th and they have not returned any phone calls. The drawers they made for us were not hung properly and one of my drawer faces was split. The installer was very nice and very apologetic but the work was not up to specs. The one day we did get the work rescheduled, the installer called and said he would not be coming because our materials had been shipped to Wisconsin! I think we are done with this company and looking to hire someone else to finish and fix the substandard work that has already been done!

Awesome company! I called a different company for a quote and they recommended Doors and Drawers. From the owner to the installer everyone was great to work with. Their main goal was to make me happy. I want to personally thank everyone for a job well done.

Had an estimate given; which I agreed to. The sales person wanted half the money upfront. I told him that I would pay when the work was completed. He agreed that to that verbally. I was scheduled for 2/8/2016; no one shown up to start on the project. No phone call or explanation; They just blew me off. I do not like being pimped for money upfront.

I have done business with several contractors that has done work on my home recently for siding, roofing and a furnace. I have always paid when the work was completed to my satisfaction. Would not recommend dealing with this company! Unprofessional customer service. If there was a problem they should have given me the courtesy of a phone call explaining their actions. Caveat Emptor!

Doors and Drawers helped us upgrade our kitchen with a new granite countertop. After shopping this project around for six months, I met Brad at Doors and Drawers and decided to move forward with their work. Not only was the service and experience great, they had the lowest price of all the companies we talked to! I definitely recommend that you use them for your next kitchen/bath project!
