Acrylic offers a high gloss surface which is impact resistant and will retain its luster with proper care. Abrasive cleaners are to be avoided. If these products damage a surface as hard as porcelain enamel, you can imagine the damage even one cleaning can do to a much softer acrylic surface. In general, the cleaning recommendations outlined for porcelain enamel hold true for acrylic fixtures.

Visited this business to start planning a bathroom upgrade/remodel. I wanted to include a higher end toilet (i.e. Toto or Kohler with personal cleansing seats). After getting passed around to a few people, spoke with someone who seemed to be in charge. They had no higher end toilets on display but promised to check into it, took my info and said they would call me next day.
Now 6+ weeks later and no word. Rather than beg to give them business, I have discovered Gerhard's Kitchen & Bath, who carry high end products, have several on display and are responsive and pleasant to work with!

Years ago, we contracted with them for a custom bathroom to include a steam unit for the shower. The tile work and all of the glass work was well done. $17,500 worth. A very important item was overlooked on the part of the manager (this steam unit had to be manually purged instead of the automatic purge which was only $150 more). Had I been given the option, I clearly would've agreed to the additional cost.
When I went to service this steam unit, they told me that we had to bust out the tile to do it properly. They obviously ordered the improper unit and I was left holding the cost of repairs.

When I decided to replace my kitchen floor i wanted a local family owned business. I went with Dickow Cyzak. I was very happy initially. However a haze developed within a month on the Evoke LVP from Metropolitan Hardwood Floors. For the next six months I was given different floor products, solutions and home remedies to try on the Evoke LVP floor (nothing worked).
The floor was stripped twice professionally. Once by the territory manager of Metropolitan Floors himself! The territory manager of Metropolitan Floors was at my home three times and even wanted to put some kind of coating over the whole floor to get it back to the dull look it was supposed to have. Next the planks were shrinking and gaps developed between the planks.
The territory manager told me to hire an independent flooring expert which i did who determined there was a manufacture defect out of the box. Metropolitan claim department totally blew me off. no response. Jeff Dickow on the other hand remained professional and engaged throughout this past year and half process. Dickow Cyzak took one on the chin by removing the POS Evoke floor and replacing it with another product i chose. AT NO COST TO ME!
This floor was not just my eat in kitchen but included pantry, laundry room, mudroom, bathroom, hallway and large closet. Just over 700 sq feet. I totally recommend Dickow Cyzak wholeheartedly. Customer service and satisfaction does not get much better than this. They haven't been in business for 51 years without providing good customer service. i did make the best choice going with Dickow Cyzak. THANK YOU!

Dickow Cyzak did an excellent job from start to finish on our kitchen remodel. Dickow Cyzak was 1 among at least 5 contractors in the Racine/Kenosha area that we went to for help with the remodel. All these contractors came out to our home to take measurements. Only two of the contractors actually got back to us with a design. Allison, the designer at Dickow took measurements, listened to how we wanted the layout to look, and got us a design within two hours of leaving our home. Allison and her partner Aaron spent a lot of time with us in their store helping us pick out cabinets, countertops, tile backsplash, hardware, sink, etc.
They worked with us flawlessly to pick out these items. Their expertise was very apparent. We did not feel pressured to go with anything in the slightest. Of the 3 quotes/budgets we got from contractors, Dickow was moderately priced. They were also very open to allowing us to complete parts of the project we believed we could do ourselves. This is not always the case with other contractors. Dickow employs carpenters, plumbers, tile setters, etc, thus all the work was done in house with the exception of the countertops.
The company they subbed for the countertops was exceptional and completed their portion of the work within 1 week. Gabriel the carpenter, Jason the tile setter, and Eric the plumber all did excellent work. They were extremely professional, great with our 3.5 year old son, and our dog Duke. The project was completed in the exact timeframe we were told.
In fact, the cabinets came in early so the project was completed about a week earlier than we had anticipated prior to it starting. Allison's communication and customer service was outstanding. She kept us in the loop regarding workers coming to the home throughout the entire project. Timeliness of getting back to us to answer questions was excellent. We could not be happier with their work and the service they provide. I'd highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality/moderately priced bathroom or kitchen remodel.

The entire Dickow & Cyzak team were fantastic from my initial in store contact to pick out some tile choices, to defining the job and through out the whole installation process. Before anything began I was educated on on what types of materials could be used and the many options, as well as the advantages or disadvantage of each. Every one was extremely knowledgeable and able to help me make the correct decisions for new tile on my kitchen floor. The installers where very professional, did an excellent job and needless to say my new porcelain tile floor is fantastic.
