We are in the process of tiling our kitchen and bathroom and have had the great pleasure of working with the Design Center at Sutherlands. The staff at the Design Center and in the lumber area are great to work with. They are very experienced and most of them have been with Sutherlands for quite a while. In this day and age, with so many companies struggling to find people and hiring inexperienced people, it is really nice to work with a company that has such experienced and competent staff. Sutherlands also has excellent tile choices and many window and door options not to mention the lumber yard.

We worked with Hannah Devore at the design center and it was a great experience. She really knows her business, is efficient, has great design ideas and is willing to work extra hard for her customers. Working with Hannah was a real pleasure! Jasmine is in complete control of the front desk and is a great communicator with a quick response on the phone whenever you call them. You really can not go wrong here.

I stopped in to see about ordering windows. The only help I received as a business card. No one onsite could talk with me about windows, and the person on the business card never responded to ours calls or emails. We are going to try them again for a door. We'll see if we have better luck there.

I'm a real estate investor and remodel contractor working on a couple of bathroom remodels. Trying to get responses to questions and quotes for cabinetry is like pulling teeth. Not sure if it's the company overall or just the person I'm working with. I need to get these cabinets ordered because lead time is 12-weeks. Due to the lack of responsiveness at Sutherlands I reached out to Tharp Custom Cabinetry in Loveland.

They're more professional, more responsive, and lead time is only 4-6 weeks. It's hard to justify doing business with a company when their representative cannot demonstrate basic level of responsiveness or customer service.

Hannah was such a wonderful person to work with. She really knows her stuff. I just appreciate the time she took to help me with cabinets.

I attempted to order cabinets and each time I spoke to Hannah Devore, she was rude and condescending and I have no idea why. She clearly didn't like the questions I asked her about their process. We are planning a basement finish this summer but I won't be purchasing anything from Sutherlands.

Ordered a countertop paid for a level higher granite and had a really bad install. Under mout sink was only caulked on 1 side the end was cut to long and not even close to square seem had a step you can trip on. Backsplash missing and when you call store can't get to a person. Horrible guess I cancel the charge card and get a new company monday

Giving someone a second chance is always good to do. Several years ago, I had a negative experience with Sutherlands.nothing major.the people I talked to were just rude. However, I had an EXCELLENT experience today. I needed 15 16' baseboard sticks. After finding the big box stores had none in stock, I reluctantly went to Sutherlands. They had an ample supply of what I needed, and it was 30% cheaper than the big box stores.

There was no waiting around to talk to an associate. The guy knew exactly what I needed. When it came to loading, I drove right into the warehouse with my Toyota 4Runner, which is not the best vehicle for carting 16' floppy boards. Another employee helped me load and even went and got a long scrap 2x6 to support the baseboard. So, I saved money, was in and out quick, and had ample help to load. I was so pleased I tipped the guy who helped load! Moral of the story: give people a second chance--you may be surprised how things swing in your favor.

I did my best to purchase an interior door. Came in twice I did meet with a consultant who really did not know her stuff. She looked at websites and made phone calls but she could not be really definite. Not with price, turn around time etc. Got a Rough quote of $950 but she would call me with a final quote. I never heard back and lost patience and contacted a local door company spent 10 minutes on the phone and ordered the exact door I wanted for less then half her estimate I will never Return here

I was nervous about all the bad reviews, but after going for my first time I'm so glad I did. The selection and quality is way above a typical hardware store. Employees were professional and great to deal with. (One guy was grumpy and not personable, but he clearly knew his stuff about construction. Which is what matters in the end.)

I wish I could give zero stars but they'll get one because the door itself that i purchased is nice. Terrible customer service and the employees are rude. I spent over $2,000 on a door and they recommended someone to install it that had zero clue what he was doing. Of course I assumed he did at the time since Sutherlands recommended him. The door doesn't fully close, the locking mechanism they sold me does not work, and the actual door handle completely comes off when you pull the door closed!

It's a piece of junk. Of course the pandemic hit so I had to wait until I could actually do anything because everything shut down. Eventually called up the store to ask for help and to see if the lock set was under warranty and if they could help me and they were so rude about it. Gave me a phone number and told me to do it myself. I asked if they could provide me the model number and serial number from my initial purchase and they said "you can uninstall the lock from the door and it'll be written on the underside." I took the whole damn thing apart and guess what?

Not there. I spent over $2000 for a bad experience and bad customer service - can't even enjoy the beautiful door. It's sad. Don't waste your time or money. Terrible customer service, terrible salesmanship, and awful installation partners/recommendations. I'm shocked they have survived this long.
