Founded in 1982 by Joe Culpepper, Culpepper Custom Woodworks is a family owned business that has been servicing its residential and commercial customers in the greater Houston area for over 30 years. Our service area is mainly Houston and its surrounding areas: River Oaks, Bellaire, Memorial, Midtown, Heights, Katy, Richmond/Rosenburg, The Woodlands, Westside, Sugar Land and most of the west side of Houston. We specialize in custom, high quality crafted woodwork for commercial and residential customers that is built to last a lifetime.
Working with Joe was a great experience for us. Joe is a very friendly person, prompt to respond and focused on delivering a quality product. Our project demanded a true woodworker. A simple installation of prefab cabinetry wasn't going to get the job done. It has been a year since our job was completed.

Joe Culpepper does amazing custom work. We asked him to take the base from our old dining table and convert to a large buffet with a wine refrigerator cabinet. The base had some unique ebony stained wood that we wanted to re-purpose and not scrap. He fulfilled our request to build a modern buffet with large dimensions of 77*40*22, using the existing wood along with a mix of maple and alder. The job wasn't cheap, but it was well worth it as we now have a custom piece of hardwood furniture. The job took about 6 weeks, so be patient as this is craftsman work.
