I bought an EHR23 a year ago because the tool I was using before was too hard to control and too hard on my back. The two handled control solved the instability problem and the soft start with the speed control was physically easier to use. I use the mixer every other day at a minimum and have experienced zero problems. I mix in either a half barrel or a five gallon bucket depending on mix volume.
