Coppersmith

I understand that some lighting companies don't offer the customer service that others do, but the manufacturer of these lanterns have been nothing but kind to me while trying to get an order when a lighting showroom refused to help me! The Coppersmith warehouse helped me directly and was extremely helpful and considerate although they don't sell direct! it was wonderful. I'm sorry others have issues with the people they are buying from, but the manufacturer themselves are wonderful! i would recommend their Copper Lanterns to anyone!

As a frequent buyer from The Coppersmith I can say that some of these posts must be referring to a particular Distributor and not the manufacturer themselves. They do stand behind their products 100% and they are of the highest quality. I am familiar with all the Copper Brands and these are among the very best. The fact that the company owns and operates it's own factory in China has no bearing on the quality of the product, they are very hands on and that facility produces a very fine product.

This overseas facility is what makes it possible for them to keep large inventories in Alabama so they can ship very quickly allowing customers to receive theri lanterns in a few days rather than 8 weeks like so many others. They operate a large facility in Foley Alabama staffed with a great crew and they continue to make many custom lanterns there as well.

The remark about "Home Depot" was completely unwarranted. These are hand made, hand polished, high quality copper lanterns whose production is over seen personally by the company owner. Their lanterns are sold through lighting showrooms and limited web sites across the country so your customer service experience depends on the distributor you choose to buy from and their policies. The Coppersmith is a manufacturer and does not sell direct to the public. I have been a buyer of their lanterns for over 10 years.

Excellent design, quality and customer service! I especially LOVE their electric lantern that looks exactly like gas! An absolute pleasure to do business with Coppersmith!

The most difficult communication to talk to when you inquire.very difficult. Poor. refuse to buy from my distributor.

Recently purchased 4 new front lights for $1,660. These were bought through a local lighting retailer who sells upscale premium lights. I "assumed" these would be American made for that price (vs. Home Depot or Lowes Lighting).I was wrong : Made in China. I went to their website, states nothing about importing Chinese made copper lighting.
