I highly recommend concrete on call. Tyrone was my driver and he had a great can-do attitude, showed up on time and even gave me a hand spreading the concrete. I was originally scheduled for the afternoon but they promptly rescheduled me for the morning to help avoid a storm. Excellent customer service all around. Will be using them for all my concrete jobs going forward.

I felt at home. They are a company with a structured base, something that has been taken out of the work environment. Get in where you fit in.

Concrete on call and their owner Gordon do not value customer satisfaction nor take liability for problems they cause. If anything goes wrong during the project they will not work with you towards a reasonable resolution. Yesterday, they poured the wrong mix of concrete despite the order specifications. The concrete poured is weak and more likely to crack and result in early issues.

I diliberately ordered concrete with fiber to not use rebar to reinforce the job. A large slab of concrete and long deep underground curbs were poured. I noticed the mistake by reviewing the receipt. Called and spoke with the receptionist who confirmed my order has fiber listed and hinted that perhaps the driver undercharged us. After he confirmed with the driver I was told the driver made a mistake and was prompted to speak with the owner of the company, Gordon.

The owner basically said oopsy, said mistakes like that happen all the time, and brushed us off without any reasonable resolution. Mind you, it is a tremendous amount of work and money to take out the incorrect concrete, pay the city to take the waste, a contractor to remake the forms and pour again! The alternative is to use what was poured, glue the pavers on top adding more value to concrete that will need to be redone sooner than planned.

We lost a lot of time and value due to the companies error. A refund would be the least they could do to offset the cost of the mistake. If they'd been more sympathetic and attempted to resolve this issue with us I wouldn't be here leaving a bad review. I understand mistakes happen and can be sympathetic myself. Sadly, I must admit we made the wrong choice using this company and will warn others to avoid them when possible.

If I could leave zero stars I would. We scheduled with them twice and both times they didn't show or bother calling to let you know they aren't coming. Then when you ask why they didn't show up they tell you they didn't have a pump and sorry about you luck we can't get to you for another week. Pathetic business and customer service.

I highly recommend Concrete on call. I just used them on my project and they were prompt, CLEAN, and very fair priced. They needed to move some pavers out of the way to get to the project site and they went the extra mile to put them all back and restored my yard to the way they found it. Very responsive and easy to work with. Will highly recommend

You will note that all the customers gave Concrete on Call an outstanding review. The grumps and ne'er-do-wells are bad drivers who are foolish enough to tailgate a concrete truck. When you get close to fire, you get burned.when you get close to a concrete truck you get splattered. I read all the reviews thoroughly. For full disclosure, I do know Gordon, the owner, an upstanding member of the community. People did their research and this is where they wisely chose.

They need a better system to keep the concrete mix from flying out of the top of the trucks while driving. Also slowing down the trucks would be a safer method of transport especially to the other people on the road. Concrete trucks are very heavy and cannot stop fast enough to be going over 80+ MPH in a 55 MPH posted speed limit. Someone needs to take notice before someone gets here hurt or killed so maybe this post that can't be deleted will help a future lawsuit.

I'm not from Tampa but needed concrete for a job there. Called several places looking for best price. Concrete on call was by far the most reasonable. They delivered on time, were curdious and professional. I highly recommend their services.

I Call concrete on call and told them that concrete was blowing off of one of their trucks on the bayside Bridge and it cracked my windshield. I HAVE A NEW CAR! Their advice to me was to call my insurance company and they rudely said "Oh thats how you handle it in Florida". Well no thats not how you handle it anywhere. You take responsibility for your company trucks. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY BECAUSE I SUSPECT THAT THEY WONT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR ACTIONS. MAYBE MY INSURANCE COMPANY WILL BE INTERESTED IN WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MY WINDSHIELD DAMAGE.
