Cheyenne Manufacturing Inc. was started by Sue and Fred on their ranch in Brush Prairie, Washington IN 1979, with the idea of making a better cart that would be lightweight, easy to maneuver AND WEATHER RESISTANT. Fred -- being a pioneer in the fiberglass industry -- put his knowledge to use and developed Cheyenne's first cart: The Workhorse.

If I could give this ZERO stars I would. TLDR: 7 month delay on a 8 week order. Didn't refund shipping. Shipped incomplete carts. Eventually refunded part of the money with a RUBBER CHECK! Unique carts but not worth the hassle. I ordered 2 workhorse carts in mid February 2021. They said 6-8 weeks. I called the first of May when I hadn't heard anything.

They hadn't even started working on them. I waiting until August and they FINALLY said the carts were ready to be shipped. I had paid $190 for shipping because 2 carts would have to be sent freight. I waited all of September and they kept giving me the run around about not being able to find a truck driver. I finally paid for a second time to have a truck go and pick up the order.

When I received the carts they didn't include the wheels! I called and asked what happened. They said they would ship them next day/overnight. I waited for 2 weeks. No wheels. I called to ask for a refund on the shipping cost that I had previously paid. They said they would, but then they didn't. They gave me some story about how it couldn't be refunded on the credit card.

So I asked them to mail me a check. They said they mailed me a check. I waited for 2 weeks. (We're in mid/late October by this point in time). I called and asked them to send the check certified mail or something similar with a tracking number. They said the check was "in the mail". Oh the story keeps going my friends. So they eventually send the partial refund check via UPS letter service.

The check they send was the EXACT check they said they supposedly had sent in the USPS mail. They had sent me an email with a scanned picture of the check they supposedly send in October. It had the exact same check number on it. They didn't send me the actual check until I called for the 3rd or 4th time. And it keeps getting better. So I deposited the check in my bank account, and 3 days later it was returned to me as NSF.

They sent me a rubber check! I had the bank call the business and the book keeping lady said they would "make it right". Well I tried to redeposit the check and so far it has cleared. I'm still out an additional $19 fee from the bank. I still don't have wheels for the carts. All this time I was calling and emailing trying to figure out what was happening.

I talked with the receptionist, the book keeper, a salesman and even some IT guy. They blamed labor shortages, the truck drivers, the post office and even me. They said I was being unreasonable! They blamed everyone but themselves. And then when they tried to refund part of the money for services they didn't provide they wrote me a bad check! Oh I'm so beyond angry. And all this time they kept saying "this isn't how we do business". Good grief! How are you still even in business!

I wanted to find some parts for a Work Horse Cart we've had since 2015. This cart has been used heavily over the past 6 years for hauling cord wood, gravel, dirt, woodchips, manure, furniture, and boxes of supplies on all types of terrain. It has been used by all ages and just needed a tune up. When I called Cheyenne Mfg. I was surprised at the prompt customer service( no long waits on hold or answering service). The Staff were very helpful. Thanks for the great service!
