Great place to work with. They worked hard to make sure my custom Lexi was cut properly to replace 50 year old + plexi on my boat. Thanks guys!

I had a great conversation with Steve there, my first time calling in for a crazy custom part. He knew what I was talking about and got things going right away. This is the kind of place that tries to help, from what i can see. Five stars for sure.

So glad we have a place like this in the valley. Steve was extremely helpful and able to help me get the right plastic for my project fast and at a fair price. Thanks!

So frustrated after trying to make an order with this place. I've called every couple of days for 2 weeks, stopped by once and still can't get anyone to take my money! Starting to feel like I should just order from a big box stores instead of this local company. Customer service is definitely not a priority! Edit: I eventually did get ahold of these people and they were really nice and I got my plastic in the end. Buuuut when I ended up needing more for my project later, I went with the craigslist guy. So much easier to deal with!

Laughably bad customer service. Called to inquire about a product and was greeted with the voice of an elderly woman who said they didn't have it, they'd look into it, and I'd likely be responsible for the entire crate worth of it if I were to order it in. She took down my name and number, and said she'd call back tomorrow. I found the product I needed elsewhere in town, called back to cancel my inquiry stating I found it at "X" location and this older woman launched into a diatribe about how they ("X" location) aren't allowed to sell it, and it's not fair, all while her voice got louder and louder.

She then told me she'd call them herself and "bitch at them". I stammered to get a word out, floored by what I was hearing from this old woman's mouth. She loudly said "Have a nice day" and slammed the phone. Here's a break down of what went wrong: 1. I don't think I should be responsible for buying a whole box of things when I only need a can of it. You're a company, how are your inventory levels my responsibility? 2.

I both don't know, and don't care about the minutia of your industry's competitors, or the legality of who can sell where. This isn't drug gang territory, I'm trying to buy an industrial grade chemical for arts and crafts. Don't involve me into your drama. 3. I inherently have no issue with swearing, and behind closed doors I swear like a sailor.

It was however unprofessional, and off-putting to hear profanity coming out of someone's mouth in what should have been a professional business setting. 4. Don't raise your voice at me. I had the courtesy to call you back and politely state I wasn't interested anymore to save you time out of your day. I decided to value your time and be extra polite, and this is how I'm repaid?

As shown by another gentleman on yelp, he had a similarly bad customer service experience with a woman working there, and I believe our mutually disagreeable situations both stem from the same person. I would rather not purchase the products I need than fiscally support a company that treats their customers like this. This behavior was without excuse, and will be reported to every outlet possible.

Unfortunately I did not get the man's name that "helped" me on Monday, August 21, 2017 @ 11am or ai would advise you not to take his advise when it comes to carbon fiber projects. Unless you want your project to cost more, have to start over, and love to be pissed off. It will cost more because he will sell you sone over priced adhesive that doesn't hold the material in place AND takes a lot longer to cure than epoxy resin; not to mention the carbon fiber fabric that had to be thrown out @$60/yard. But I guess you have to take what you can get here in Alaska.

Gentleman that answered the phone suggested a product with incorrect Shore D Hardness, and then told me that Shore A Hardness was close enough, after I had already told him Shore D 90 was my spec for Hardness. They became argumentative and then hung up when I told them I knew what I wanted. They will tell you what you need, even if they are wrong.

And if you disagree as to what you'd like to purchase, you can't buy from them. you either buy what they tell you to buy, or you get nothing but attitude and the run-around. Buy from other sellers if you live in Alaska, they will ship to you. Look at the other poster Gary Nippins, he speaks the truth. I have encountered the same attitude at CAC Plastics.
