We needed to source materials to complete a job that was abandoned by a "family friend". Jim offered poss solutions in both material and design. He was responsive to our calls and communicated any change in availability of materials and delivery timeframes. He also referred us to Nick Danna at Empire Construction and Landscaping after our person had left us high and dry. Nick completed the job, beautifully and within the anticipated timeframe. I'm a custom concrete counter top fabricator. I went to Grimm for the first time the other day. To say the least, the salesperson "Shane" was absolutely unhelpful in questions I had concerning where to go, to my interest in their other product such as butterfield colors. Afterwards, I found myself picking my product myself from "door 4," and then needed to find a yard worker to sign my receipt (I thought you employed people in your yard for that purpose; not for me to have to do it myself).It appeared to me they only wanted to deal with someone who (1) knew them personally (as opposed to building new business relationships), and (2) knew what they wanted and had a "get and go" approach.

I will NEVER buy another thing from Grimm unless I'm forced into a predicament where I HAVE TO. Meaning NO other supplier within a 50 mile radius has the product I need, and I need it NOW. Grimm, your customer service and approach to building new relationships with new small business is TERRIBLE! I'll gladly drive out of my way to go to Grandview in Schenectady than deal with you EVER AGAIN!
