Issue with order placed online 10/20 never received Order store reported to Postmates no update or contact from support do not use their service Update: I wanted resolve for the order I did not receive. With the one follow up to the report sent, there was no proof of delivery and I was never contacted by the driver either. However I'm still charged for this and have to escalate issue with my bank hence having to file police report for the charge.

I don't understand why be passive aggressive about the issue I understand it's not the fault of the bakery, but this could have been handled better so the service of Postmates can be apprehended Date 11/18 I am still charged for this order I'm not sure why as the refund was confirmed by Uber

My husband and I were visiting Chicago and a friend of mine that lives there took us to this place for lunch. They graciously served us about 15 minutes before the kitchen closed, which we were thankful for. The interior is beautiful! And the fact that they ask for your vaccination card is extremely attractive to me. The food was delicious, as well as the coffee.

I had a biscuit sandwich with veggies and a side salad. The only odd thing was that the lettuce was very, very cold. I also bought a chive cheddar scone to take with me. It was incredible! I would love to visit Baker Miller again the next time I'm in Chicago.

Love this spot! I went to their original location on Western many years ago; so happy to see they're still thriving! Their current location went through a beautiful renovation and the inside is so cute! It's great when a company reinvests in themselves to make the customer experience more enjoyable. Sucks that the masks indoors are coming back but I respect their decisions on how to keep their staff and customers safe by having outdoor seating and a to go window. Food is phenomenal, my favorites are the elote hash and dough boys! I will continue to be a repeat customer :

Migrated from Lincoln Square to 4655 North Lincoln Avenue after a lease dispute in 2018 Baker Miller is no stranger to turmoil, and amidst a global pandemic the concept from Megan Miller and husband David has resorted to take-out only from 8am until 3pm Thursday through Monday. Officially titled Baker Miller Bakery & Dinette, a combination cafe and mill house from former Bang Bang Pie employees that debuted in 2014, much of the Miller's early praise came from house-ground Grains, hand-milled Flour and Chicago's first "Toast Bar, " while critiques of both price and inconsistency have also been commonplace. Using online or walk-up ordering during COVID-19, staff appropriately donning PPE but inattentive-bordering-on-rude while waiting for two slices of Bread to be toasted, it was on a nearby bench that the Miller's goods were eaten, buttered naturally-leavened Sourdough an immediate highlight thanks to both tanginess and crumb while a $3.75 Biscuit was arguably underbaked at the bottom but nonetheless enjoyable. Trying hard not to focus on prices, David and Megan's commitment to their craft most certainly commendable, it is hard not to raise an eyebrow at $3.50 for a two-bite Sandwich Cookie that tastes mostly like Sugar, a quarter more for double the amount of Chocolate Chips and perfectly baked Dough faring far better in terms of taste as well as value.

Also performing well with a toothsome Thumbprint Cookie, Strawberry Jam providing just enough sweetness to a blend of Nuts and Oats, those seeking a "signature" item will find it in Baker Miller's "Doughboy, " the baked round far lighter than a Doughnut and currently dressed like Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal clocking in at $4.50 after tax - far better than the more expensive Blueberry Oat Muffin which finds Fruit in a clump at the center of an otherwise flavorless matrix.

Dined in on a Friday morning. I had the Elote Hash. The menu says this comes with a "soft egg" but I asked the nice man at the counter if they could give me an over easy egg instead as I'm totally opposed to runny egg whites. He said it was cool and had the cook (owner?) come over and show him how to adjust my egg preference on the tablet. When the dish came, that egg yolk was hard.

Like chalky hard. He fried that thing all the way through. My boyfriend ordered the Egg & Bacon biscuit with a side of potatoes. The potatoes on both of our dishes were definitely under cooked. Despite those things, we enjoyed our food. The pastries looked delicious and they have horchata pie! I mean, c'mon now. We'll definitely be back for it. Gotta say though - you guys need to clean your bathrooms up a bit. There were some gross looking questionable spots in there.

Love this neighborhood gem! Their avocado toast is my favorite. And I cant resist the baked goods either! One of my go-to spots in Lincoln Square. I'm also appreciate of the efforts they've taken to keep their customers and employees safe during the pandemic.

Coffee was good. I have the elote grits which were sooooo delicious. My friends enjoyed their meals. I love the ambiance and the staff was really nice. The three meals with three coffees came out to 52 dollars. Not sure if I feel like it's pricy because it was really delicious and I think it was organic so it was a good choice. My friend said the salad dressing was great. And the biscuits and gravy were Super scrumptious.

I've heard a lot about this place and finally went in. What I found was a pretty decent but unremarkable eating experience surrounded by lots of eclectic cafe flair reminiscent of a pop up, Instagram bar. I had a cappuccino with zero artistry and my friend had a tasty kombucha that came in a bottle that you can pour into a mason jar. For my breakfast I had the sausage maple cheddar biscuit.

I underestimated the biscuit portion which was easily my least favorite part, but I just don't like biscuits. My friend enjoyed it. The eggs and cheddar were tasty though the egg was a custard which meant scrambled and then fried - I would have preferred a nice, greasy fried egg. The maple was a great touch. My friend had the Shakshouka Heirloom Oat Bowl.

I was instantly jealous. The oat/grain base was hearty and flavorful, topped with all sorts of goodies like avocado, a hard boiled egg and the shakshouka which I believe was the spicy red salsa like substance that soon dominated the whole mix. I had potatoes on the side of my biscuit sandwich instead of salad and dipped it in the mix, and it was amazing.

The whole meal cost over $40 before tip which was a bit of a shock. This is not a place to go for a quick bite. It's cute, has a patio and the staff isn't rude but for my eating experience I really felt like I overspent. I don't know that I have any reason to return, it was a fun experience but I can't justify the price for what I had. I think Baker Miller is about a 3.4, so I rounded down.

Baker Miller is one of our favorite places in Lincoln Square. Whenever we are in town we make sure to come by for breakfast. The lox sandwich is a perfect combination of light and filling. It's one of those meals that makes you feel like you're starting the day off right! The coffee isn't our favorite (it's a little too acidic tasting as we prefer bold/dark coffee) but it's still yummy and pairs well with breakfast! We also love the outdoor dining area and the art hanging in the restaurant!

The doughboys are very good, they go for $3 a piece. When was there they had an Oreo and a caramel apple. The Oreo was a bit deceiving I didn't taste any resemblance but was still very good. Seating is hard to find, it's a pretty small place so try to go during week. The toast bar looked unimpressive, would stick to a pastry or other menu item.

I have been wanting to come to Baker Miller for a year now. I looked over the menu online and ordered the toast plate, which came with three types of bread. There was a butter and jar bar that came with the toast plate. The staff was helpful and kind.

Sales rep took no responsibility for miss measured cabinate space. He came out to site to confirm measurements and dimensions. Then when cabinates didn't fit he forced us to pay for the replacement! Additionally, some of the drawers don't close properly. Baker Millers response is to email us directions on how to adjust! 5 figures for the kitchen and over 50k total with this company for our new house, and that's the customer service you get? Would not recommend.

We used these guys for all the windows and doors in our dream house. There were some fairly serious problems with our order - wrong stain on the windows, wrong doors, etc. Initially, the salesmen spent strenuous efforts trying to pretend they didn't bear any responsibility. However, once Mark the owner got involved, he did make heartfelt efforts to mitigate the situation and gave us a discount.
