Backflow Prevention Supply, Inc., DBA Backflow Supply was opened to be a reliable, dependable resource for all your backflow needs; parts, assemblies, enclosures, testing equipment and gauge calibration. More importantly for information, training and assistance to its customers. Back in 1989 Gary Jenkins, the owner had difficulty finding the necessary backflow repair kits and someone who could answer his questions about the assemblies from local or national suppliers; this inspired the creation of Backflow Supply.
The most popular model is the MidWest 845-5 and we maintain stock on this model. They also make it in a 3 valve and 2 valve configuration. The 835 gauge is the same gauge as the 845-5 but comes in a rugged carrying case that allows the gauge to be mounted into the case and provides the option to remove it for convenience.
We carry a large selection of backflow preventer cages and enclosure with many different options and sizes available. 6/13/22 Status: There are some parts shortages on these delaying availability. We are an authorized repair and calibration service center for Mid-West Instrument. This means we have been trained by Mid-West to calibrate, repair and do warranty work as needed. Mid-West has manufactured gauges for Apollo, Wilkins, Febco, Flomatic and a few other companies. We charge $85.00 + return shipping for the 845 and 835 series and $110.00 + return shipping for the 830 model.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. Sean went above and beyond by calling me this morning to ensure the parts I ordered were needed. I've never seen any business do this in my life. These folks are amazing. I needed a component for my back flow preventer, all online shipping times were 2 weeks out at least. They had the parts in stock that I needed so I placed an order online not knowing the store was located in Salt Lake. Shawn went the extra mile to call me and notify me that the next day air shipping wasn't necessary as my shipping address was local.
He saved me $17 and time as well as he was able to change it to a pickup order. Here I was thinking I would have to wait until June for the parts and turns out I can have them in my hands in less than 24 hours. Truly incredible service and attention to detail. There's a reason this place has nothing but good reviews, they're awesome. I will suggest them to anyone I know looking for backflow parts, can't say enough positive things.

I don't do this at all but I am amending my review. I had been given the wrong part for my system but Shawn made it right and didn't charge me for the new one. I was impressed with the service and willingness to make it right. He refused to charge me for the part and wanted to make sure I was satisfied. That goes a long way in my book. I was frustrated by having to make two trips from the other end of the valley but Shawn made the effort to make it right. Thank you!
