Found tub holes covers that were hard to find elsewhere. They went the extra mile to give an amazing service and helpful updates about delivery. Would recommend and buy from them again.

Incredible service. Went out of their way to find and ship a needle in a haystack. Highly recommend them.

Toilet seat did not match the bowl color. Brass pieces were not lined up. All no big deal if they would ANSWER their phone or emails.

I've left multiple voicemails, emails, and messages via your website! You once picked up the phone, and immediately after hearing who I was, told me you would have to call me back, then hung up the phone. You still haven't called me back, and refuse to answer your phone, and return my calls/emails! Either ship my order which was placed two weeks ago, MAC1720, or refund my money immediately.

We've only wanted a order update, so why you are ignoring us is super fishy, especially since we now know you are getting our calls and voicemails. We also see here a post was made on your behalf just three weeks ago, that you are open for business. It also says on your website orders are usually shipped within one business day. We know due to COVID things might be slightly delayed, which is understandable.

But it's been two weeks, and for the last four days we've tried every avenue to get ahold of you, JUST TO GET A ORDER UPDATE! Something fishy is going on, because I don't see why else we would be ignored like this, especially how it seems like our calls go to your cell phone. We've only wanted a order update! I will gladly remove this negative review if you return my money, or ship our items, AND contact us!

Right now we are smelling fraud, and actions will be taken to get our money back. Please just call us! And if you have time to respond to this negative review, then you have time to respond to the MANY MANY MANY attempts we've made to contact your business!

My wife has been trying to get our money back from this company for three weeks, for an order that they never shipped, and actually never had in stock! This company will not answer their phone, and will not email you back! It's been weeks of getting the runaround about why we haven't been refunded. that's if they even email or return your phone call!

This company is shady shady shady, so buyers beware! And it's not just us. two other people have messaged us on Facebook regarding our post on this companies wall, and saying they are in the same position! So this company has swindled THREE people (that I know of. definitely could be more) out of their hard earned money! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

They have fun products and service is good while you're buying something but not after, if there's an issue. We bought a clawfoot tub a few months back that wobbled when it was picked up (not at the store). We got in contact with them and picked up another foot which did not solve the issue. I called them again asking to come by and help fix the problem and even though they sounded far from enthusiastic, they promised to call back with specifics.

They didn't. I called again multiple times but usually when they were closed and you can't leave a message. I reached them after a couple of weeks and they said they'd come out the following Saturday. Saturday they left a message that they found another foot but it needed a bit of work so there's no point in coming out until it's done the following. That's a couple of weeks ago now and no word.

I understand that between tub pickup and installation was a couple of months which must have been frustrating but I would have assumed they'd be a little more interested in fixing a faulty product.

Poor communication. These guys are rip off artists. My contractor went in for what we thought was a minor antiquing of some steel rods. They led him to believe it was no big deal then charged $250 when it was time to pick up.

This quaint family owned business is a neighborhood gem! Don't let the term 'antique' stop you from shopping here. I came in for a 'new' claw foot tub, but Brian and Ken were so helpful and knowledgable, I ordered everything for my two bath remodels here! They have some beautiful displays of the latest Brizo products which I also purchased along with all the 'modern' fixtures I wanted. They can order anything you want! I was so happy to give my business to a local independent with great customer service! Thanks guys!

Mac the Antique Plumber has proved that customer service is not a forgotten art! Brian assisted me during both of my visits and really went out of his way to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. If you are looking for knowledge staff, gorgeous vintage/antique or wonderful new/modern pieces, and great customer service this is the place to go! I look forward to a long, wonderful working relationship with the team at Mac the Antique Plumber.

The worst customer service! I placed an order nearly 2 weeks ago and after multiple inquiries have never been told the truth about when it would ship. they just couldn't be bothered. so I finally asked for a refund and am still waiting for these losers to give me my money back. also I've since discovered you can find the exact same stock I ordered elsewhere minus Mac's shipping fee.

Project Pink Bathroom. I promised my wife I'd paint our half bathroom pink. Our home is a 1950's home with lots of retro charm. The half bathroom was just white and old looking. After painting the bathroom, the toilet tank lid REALLY stood out. It was some cheap plastic replacement lid. The problem was we had a house party and somebody had a little too much fun and somehow broke our toilet tank lid. Helluva party!

Finding the right tank lid was hard because our toilet is Old School.antique if you will. After being disappointed at Red's Plumbing, I drove over to Mac The Antique Plumber. It's on Elvas Ave. Elvis died on the toilet so there's some irony there. Lots of cool vintage sinks and accessories. Toilets and tubs I've never seen before.

I was just after a particular lid that would match the Standard. Mac went in the back room and came out with the exact one I was looking for. It cost a lot. Never thought I would pay $80 for a toilet tank lid.but it made the retro pink bathroom look perfect. Project Pink Bathroom.cue the Theme from The Pink Panther.

This place is a perfect example of how great customer should be. They pleasantly greet you and are willing to assist with any questions. They carry hard to find items and all kinds of other cool stuff. The prices may be a little more expensive, but they have the items that cannot be found elsewhere. This is definitely a place worth checking out.

A specialty store like no other in Sacramento, Mac the Antique Plumber offers a small but beautiful selection of antique and new (reproduction) bathroom fixtures, lighting, drinking fountains, and door hardware. Mac has clawfoot tubs, pedestal sinks, and vintage toilets with great brand names like "Expulso." If you need some vintage art deco cabinet knobs or a Craftsman-style ceiling light, Mac can help you, too. I've been curious about the availability of enamel laundry sinks (I don't want a plastic one in my laundry room) and Mac has several.

My excitement shifted to disappointment when I read the price tags, though. The items in Mac's store are either beautifully-restored antiques or high-quality reproductions, and they are far from cheap. Service is courteous and efficient and the small showroom is immaculate. If you're serious about restoring your midtown Victorian or bungalow - and you can afford the best - you'll find what you need at Mac's.
