The customer service here is exceptional. When I came in, I was immediately greeted and JoJo did a phenomenal job helping me. Super proactive and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend them enough!

This place has lots of very nice tile options. And the designers are very helpful. It's best to make an appointment, but they let you look around at the displays by yourself. And there are a lot of displays! Nice that it's open on Saturday, as well.

Great selection of kitchen and bath tiles with a few spaces setup to get ideas. Many sizes textures and patterns. They'll let you take tiles home if needed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We needed a few visits before we were able to make a decision.

I picked out this gorgeous wood look Tile! The kitchen isn't in yet but here are photos of the space so far. We also have some samples for our guest bath, so we will be coming back to get more tile soon.once the kitchen is done.

We went to 3 different tile stores trying to find tile for our home renovation projects and were very frustrated when we finally landed at Architectural Ceramics in Vienna. Ask for Ingrid- she has a keen eye for color and design and was extremely patient with us. Ingrid listened to us and was able to find tile which both my husband and I liked, within our budget.

She is extremely knowledgeable and offered us a variety of selections, even though it appeared that the shop's selection was limited. Thanks to Ingrid's skilled assistance, we found tile which we love for 3 bathrooms, as well as flooring for our mudroom. She even helped us select coordinating paint colors. Recommend making an appointment ahead of time.

Visited the Vienna store today for the replacement of my shower room floor. I found this store because they are a big distributor for Florida Tile which is currently what I had as wall tile. Most of the tiles I asked are special order and take about 1 month to arrive. The thing makes me very unhappy is that I brought the sample of my floor tile, however the sales person only show me 2, yes, 2 options, one of which is $40+/sqft and also 1 month time to receive the order.

The other store I visited usually takes 5-8 business days to get the pieces. I understand later this is a high-end store. Yes the store setup is very nice but I just don't feel comfortable that the sales person only show me 2 options but in fact no options at all.

Wonderful! The designers helped me choose a perfect tile for a hard spot (had to fit in with a lot of other visual activity in the room). I sat on the information for over a year and the tile was discontinued by the time I got back to this project. Brenda managed to locate some boxes and when I didn't order enough to complete the job she searched again until she found another box.

She also expedited the delivery so that I was able to get the tiles the next day (less than 24 hours). I can't say enough about how helpful Brenda has been. She literally saved the day - TWICE! PS Great selection of tiles too.

Great place for remodeling my bathroom. Great people very helpful. A lot of possibilities and styles. Prices are better than I though.

Just walked around the whole place twice. Four people in the showroom and not one asked if they could help. When I asked a question, I got a very rude kind of know it all response that made me feel very unwelcome. Guess Ill take my little project with 7 baths elsewhere.

Just be aware that the prices of their tiles are quite high but they have unique lines including the now-hot "Ravenna" tiles which take inspiration from patterns in nature and aerial photography. Know about prices going in. I've done a lot of tile research and you can find a range of prices across different tile shops in this region, and you should check out the others (including Ideal Tile just down Route 7 about 2 miles from this shop) if you are so inclined.

Visited Falls Church store on Sat. morning (8/22/15) without an Appt. Started very nice, I looked around, sales rep.came up asked if she could help, I asked for pricing on 2 tiles, and her appt. arrived early so I was turned over to another sales rep. She refused (new rep) to share with me any prices saying the first rep would reach out to me with pricing.

I stated I was not ready to order, just wanted to know price and again I was told the first rep would reach out to me. Now 3 weeks later never heard a peep from anybody. Great overall selection, but stick with the Rockville Store. Been a customer personally and referred clients there. Never had to deal with the my customer vs. your customer crap before stopping in the Falls Church store. It could just be the second sales person upset with her colleague - now it is a reputation problem for the whole store.

We ordered a small amount of very light weight tile. The 12 sheets we ordered weighted maybe 15 pounds tops. Much to our surprise the shipping was $230. Once we realized they charged us their flat rate freight shipping rate for up to 100 pound we complained, after about 3 weeks we finally got them to refund us $120. Still pretty darn expensive to ship 15 pounds.

Also once we saw how much this particular store was we decided to get a quote for the exact same order from their Alexandria store and see what they came up with. The tile itself was $4 less per sq / ft and they shipped via UPS ground so the shipping was much much less.

We came to Architectural Ceramics and were very impressed with the level of service we received. The tile selection was also amazing.more tile options than any other tile store in the area. Save yourself the time and come here.

Architectural Ceramics recently helped in the design and build of a new bathroom. Michael, our sales rep. did a fantastic job with matching our needs and expenses. Go around back and Ray (an ex contractor) knew what we needed to do the job. I cannot say enough good things about the service and quality of materials. I will always go back to Architectural! Would recommend Architectural Ceramics to everyone! Beautiful selection of tile, excellent service and painless ordering and delivery. They helped with the tile design, made great suggestions, and showed me how to make a little bit of "wow" tile go a long way, thus saving me money.

We had a great experience at Architectural Ceramics. A consultant was assigned to help us very quickly after we arrived without an appointment and he was very helpful taking us through the myriad of tiles and assisting us in a couple of follow-up visits regarding our bathroom project. We ended up choosing a beautiful seagrass limestone tile for the floors and wall and a snazzy pebble tile for the shower floor.

We followed Michael's suggestions regarding grouting and sealer and were very pleased with the finished bathroom. Not only was Michael helpful and responsive throughout, the follow-up from customer service regarding our order was very attentive. I compared some prices on the Internet and found the slight premium on AC's prices more than worth the service, convenience and reliability.

If you're on a strict budget and have questionable self control. Don't go here because you WILL find something completely awesome that you can't resist. This store (and the Old Town location) have the best selection of the latest and greatest in stone, glass and ceramic I've seen anywhere. I bought my kitchen back splash tiles here after suffering through many other sub-par showroom visits of the same old stuff.

Their staff is also incredibly knowledgeable and helpful (even if you don't go with them for the install). We purchased a tile that did not have any sort of bullnose or end piece options so she explained some of our options in that area and recommended schluter which we ended up going with and it looks amazing. Highly recommend this place.

Had a great experience with Rex, who made the overwhelming task of choosing floor and backsplash tile for our kitchen very easy with his great eye and his good suggestions. It's like he knew exactly what our kitchen looked like and what it needed! They're got a huge variety of tile in every price range. Highly recommend it.

I have been using AC for many years on a professional level specifying tile for project and when it was time for me to updates my wife' bathroom I knew I could trust them. But there was only one problem- I had to bring my wife to the showroom in Rockville and she was amazed by all of our options and I had to refocus her on our plan. But once we met with Tim he was tremendously helpful as I knew I wanted to use the 4x16 Streamline tiles but the accents and floors were a total mystery to me.

He talked us through the options and at the end we have a beautiful product, which was so affordable and arrived earlier then expected so i could start on the project before Memorial day weekend. I can not say how much help the AC staff and Tim have been. We will use them again and I highly recommend them to anyone who is trying the DIY approach.
