Founded in 1974 by Steve Pitney, Alternate Energy presents the next generation, educated in the Plymouth Schools: step-son Derek and daughter, Krysta on the left, and nephews Kevin and Andrew (L&R of Steve). We design, sell, install and service all types of renewable energy systems, including solar electric, heat, hot water, wind power systems, as well as energy-efficient systems.
Alternate Energy Services all makes and models of solar collector, photovoltaic, and wind system. When other companies have failed to deliver on their ability to maintain and service the products they sell, we have been there to make sure your investment remains in top-notch condition.
Alternate Energy is one of the oldest and most trusted solar installer and contractor in Massachusetts, and is located in Plymouth, MA and serves Eastern Massachusetts, including Cape Cod, Duxbury, Marshfield, Kingston, Plympton, Hingham, Weymouth, and the Boston Metro area, Including Weston, Wellesley, Cambridge, Malden, Revere, Winthrop and more. We are NABCEP certified for both Solar Electric and Heating.
