Needed the tops of 5 hardwood stairs sanded, stained and polyurethaned. Quoted a price of $1200 for 5 stairs. Ridiculous price. Did not use their company. Found a man who did the same work for $200 - he did a beautiful job.

When I asked why they were not a member of the better business bureo. and did not answer a complaint; if they used subs and for proof of workman's comp Mike said I was too difficult to work with and no one else asked for this kind of information. He said I called him a liar over the phone. Nothing like that ever happened.

I am making this review on my own free will exercising my 1st ammendment. I can not make a review on their flooring, however I can make my review on the type of people and employers they are. As far as employers, in my opinion, they are the lowest of low. When a problem occurred with their services, instead of doing the right thing and fixing the problem, I witnessed them make excuse after excuse not to resolve the issue appropriately.

Then used money to cover their actions, leaving the smaller guy to deal with the consequences. In my opinion business owners that are money hungry, selfish, better than all, little people dont matter attitudes do NOT deserve your HARD EARNED INCOME.

I have had a few issues with my install on a new construction home. After 3 years and being out of warranty, my top step has split and is close to falling apart. Called Acme this week, one of their supervisors came out and immediately said they'd replace/fix the issue. Wood is an imperfect material. It was not the fault of the installer or company that the wood split yet they are standing behind their work years after the warranty expired. Top notch!

We built a new home they they put the hardwood floors in. When we moved in I notice that the floor was cupping and I thought I we see how they handle the winter being dried out. Well come March I still had cupping and now had some gaps in the floor. Called them to come look. The gentleman said that the floor is cupping because I mop the floor really wet and I told him I don't own a mop then he said it's be of when they laid them (which was August).

I said but the floor is gapped too, he ignored me. We saw some other spots and he took some pictures and said they would fix those. I never heard from them again. I called because my one year warranty was coming up and they had no idea of what I was talking about. They scrambled around and sent some guys over. They had no idea what to fix. The gentljeman didn't have the pictures that he took.

The guys that can to fix the spot said that the floor was really cupped and needs to be fixed. I called again about the cupping and said it needs to be fix. They came out again as said that the floor was like this because I mopped with a wet mopped. I told them again that I don't own a mop, I have a dry mop. Then they said they would have to get back to me.

I never heard from them again. So I called them every week and they would say they would have to get back to me. Finally I talk to someone again and thus said that it was my fault because of I use a wet mop. Told them again I don't own one. I said this had been like this since I moved in. The floor is cupped under my rug. They said that they would get back to which they never did.

I keep calling and finally they said that the tech on the final cost right before I moved in said that it was cupped. (All of this has been going on for close to a year) I said great please fix it. They said it's no their fault it's cupped it the builders fault. They stated that they builder probably won't pay. I said what happens to me. They said a lot of people pay to have it fix and go after the builder. Are you kidding me?!?!? From the beginning they have never owned up to anything and nothing is their fault. They just want to install your floor and move one. They don't want to honor any warranty.

This company is absolutely terrible. They were contracted by my builder to put the floor in when my house was built about a year and a half ago. I contacted them about 4 months ago to do some more wood floors. After about 6 emails and 4 calls over the course of a month I finally got them to return my call and get on their schedule in 3 weeks for a quote.

The day comes around and noone shows up. I call them and apparently the appointment got scheduled in 2019 instead of 2018. Ok great she assured me they can get someone there for a quote next week. The guy shows up the next week and takes measurements and discussed everything with me. I have now tried calling multiple times and emailed multiple times and have not heard a word.

Can't even get them to give me the information for stain color on existing floors they put in so I can make it easier for the other company to get my work done. Save yourself frustration and don't even try with this company!

Was just flipped off by one of their employees driving a van on Roe. Ha, the epitome of unprofessional. Maybe chill out a bit, merging is legal. No reason to run up on me to close off the space. That set you back what, 3 seconds. Nice representation.

Worse company to work for/ get work done by. You'll be on the waiting list for weeks, if not months to get your floors done or repair. Then when all said and done, nothing is ever fix just for the momentarily. The workers get treated the worse. Starting pay is the equivalence of a fast food restaurant. Overall just a poor company definitely.

Save yourself time and frustration and use someone else. The finished product is lovely, but what should have been a 2 week process turned into a two month ordeal. The salesman, while very kind, oversold and under delivered at every step of the way and the company sold me product they could not deliver in the time frame given on multiple occasions.

It is a family owned company, and based on reviews and my desire to support a local family, we chose them.unfortunately, I had to talk with nearly every member of the family to get the job done! And in every family-if you need something done.go right to momma. Barbara was one person that called when she said she would. My only hope is that my floors outlive my distaste for Acme's business practices.
