Services
Our beginnings came in 1921, when Standard Bitulithic, a division of Warren Brothers of Boston, built a half-ton batch plant on the site that is now A.E. Stone, Inc. At that time, no one knew of the journey and growth that was to come almost a century later. Standard Bitulithic transferred A. E. (Ned) Stone, their superintendent on the Merritt Parkway Connecticut project, to Pleasantville, NJ, where he would become their Operations Manager in early 1939.During World War II, the decision was made to sell the facility.
AE Stone's experience in paving includes small commercial parking lots to major highway projects requiring 200,000 tons of asphalt. Contracts include grading, milling, reclaiming and stabilization. We have paved numerous municipal, county and state roadways, as well as airport runways, school parking lots and bridges.
To establish credit with our companies, please print both credit applications for A. E. Stone, Inc. and Winslow Hot Mix, LLC., complete each in their entirety and return them to our main office fax number (609) 641-0374, or via email.

I thought real hard about writing this review because I don't think promoting their name in a negative way is even worth it. Staff and maybe a possible owner were extremely rude. I even felt discriminated against for racial reasons. It is a big company and I guess my inquire was not beneficial enough for them so they completely ignored me. I asked the question and both employees/managers (woman and guy) looked at me and said nothing and turned to each other and kept going with their conversation! Rudeness at its best!
